  • Who am I? I'm a doujinshi artist/collector/seller. I love doujinshi, and I really am interested in helping the circles that produce them. ^_^

Hello!  Welcome to my about me page, featuring Hooper himself!

Special Thanks:

A huge thank you and many hugs to yanagitenks for the beautiful banner for the shop!

It's the neko!

I love it to bits!  Thank you again!  ^______^

About Me:

To your left is a picture of the little cat who is the influence behind my user ID.  He's always so happy, so I used him as my eBay ID. At first I wanted to use cherden (my handle name for my art galleries and website), but someone was already using it! ;_; So happyhooper it is!

Frequently Asked Questions

If you ever have any questions about the items that I am selling, please email:  cherden@hotmail.com
(Japanese-->) 質問がありましたら、気軽にどうぞ:
cherden@hotmail.com.

  • What are the genre classes?

    • A = general

    • B = shonen ai/shojo ai

    • C = BL (Yaoi)

    • D = romance

    • E = yuri

    • F = other (see description)

If you have any questions about genres, please feel free to ask.

  • What does BL mean?  BL is "Boy's Love."  It's the word Japanese doujinka and the fan community uses instead of the acronym YAOI for male x male books.

  • How can I pay you?  I am flexible, but I can only accept payments approved by eBay.

  • Where do you ship?  I ship anywhere the US Post Office services.  That means that as long as they can reach you, I can ship it.  I do ship internationally.

  • How much does shipping cost?

    USA: $4

    Canada: $8

    International: $13

Since these are flat-rate prices, shipping will not increase for additional items. The only exception is for oversized items, which cost extra. These items will have a note on the listing. Please wait for your invoice so that we can adjust shipping correctly for your order! Please note that express mail and priority mail cost extra. If you wish to have your items shipped via a specific mail class, please contact me.

  • Can I add insurance?  Please contact me if you wish to add insurance. It may increase the postage for your order.

  • Can I combine shipping?  Absolutely! Since we have flat-rate prices, postage will not increase for additional items. The only exception is for oversized items, which will have a special note on the listing.

  • How will you pack my order?  I pack items very carefully.  Doujinshi are sandwiched in cardboard or placed in a very sturdy, protective envelope and wrapped in bubble wrap.  Each book has a bag to protect it.  Figurines are shipped in boxes with appropriate padding.

  • Can you mark my package as a "gift" on the customs form?  NO.  Most countries do not have a duty for books.  You may be charged a fee for other items, such as figurines.  I can't mark the package illegally to help you avoid these fees.  The fee may vary by country, and are the buyer's responsibility.

  • Can I cancel my order?
    No.
All sales are final.  Please do not bid or purchase an item unless you really want it.  Anyone who cancels an order will not be allowed to purchase items from my store unless there are reasonable, extenuating circumstances.

  • Will you take an item off auction and let me "Buy it Now?"  No.  It's not fair to anyone else who may be watching the auction.  If a book is for auction, you must bid on the book.  If a book is for sale at a flat price, it will have a "Buy it Now" price and you can purchase it without bidding.

  • I want book X but I don't want to pay price Y...  Please remember that these are my doujinshi.  I personally own the books I have for sale and have read about 99% of them. To get some of the doujins I absolutely love, you have to pay the price I set.  Sometimes, that price means:  "you have to pry it from my cold, dead hands."  I could be mean and not sell them at all.  It's rude to demand that I lower my price for you.  -_-*  If you don't like the price, please search for the book elsewhere.

  • May I have additional scans of item X?  NO.  Unless you have an extremely valid reason for needing an additional scan, I will not add additional wear to my doujins by scanning them.  No exceptions.  If you want a photo of a figurine from a different angle, I can do that.  Just be aware that my photography stinks.

  • Where did item x go?  It was on auction and now it's gone.
Feel free to ask me if an item was unsold and doesn't appear on the site.

  • Why is PayPal so slow to clear my e-check?  I wish I knew why they were so slow -_-*  Unfortunately, there has been an increase in buyer fraud regarding eChecks. Due to this increasing problem, I must wait for all eChecks to clear. This includes checks from repeat customers.

  • Do I have to pay sales tax?  Only if you live in Indiana.

  • When do you give a buyer feedback?  After I ship your item, I will leave you positive feedback so that everyone will know how wonderful you are!  I always allow sufficient time before I file for an "unpaid item."  However, if I receive no communication from you for over two weeks, I will have to give you an "unpaid item strike."  I am human, and sometimes I miss a feedback or two.  If you should have feedback from me and it doesn't show up, drop me a message.  I'll be sure to give you your feedback ASAP (unless, of course, you never paid for the item...)

  • I am brand new to eBay.  Do I have to contact you before I bid on your items?  No.  We were all new once.  Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have about my auctions/listings.  I will do my best to help you!

  • What does Character x Character and Character + Character mean?  What does this ">" symbol mean?

    • Character x Character means that the two characters listed are in a romantic relationship.  Sometimes you may not be able to tell from the artwork (the romance may be a story element).  If you are really concerned about seeing characters kiss, touch, etc it would be best to ask me about the content before you bid.

    • Character + Character means that the two are related in a platonic or family way.  They are not necessarily romantically involved.  I often use this symbol to denote family/sibling doujinshi.  For example, a Zelos and Seles doujinshi that is not romantic is Zelos + Seles.  Once again, this may be a story element.  If you are concerned about the degree that the artwork depicts the relationship, please ask me before you bid.

    • Character > Character means "one-sided love,"  I use this symbol to depict stories where one character wants another character...but the feeling is not mutual!  Once again, this may be a story element.  If you are concerned about the degree that the artwork depicts the relationship, please ask me before you bid.

  • Can I send Morris fan mail?  Of course you can!  ^_^  He'd probably love it!
