In September 2009 we'll be completing our 11th successful year on eBay!  You'll usually find an eclectic selection at Sunny Knoll -- which is the name of our property and 19th century farm house in Connecticut. Mostly you'll find the things I know and love the best -- china, crystal and other glassware, art glass, candlesticks, vintage textiles, American and European art pottery, vintage kitchen ware and other decorative items. The majority of what I sell tends to be early and mid 20th century, but often I list true antiques. My husband and I have collected late 19th and early 20th century illustrated children's books for many years and occasionally I'll list a few. Let me know if you're looking for that special book from your childhood. 

For those of you with severe allergies, our home is smoke free, but we do live with a psychotic cat and an Australian cattle dog.

HOW I DESCRIBE THE ITEMS I SELL: No one can be an expert in every area, so I spend a lot of time researching the items I sell in order to provide the best description possible. Often I'll list an item about which I know absolutely nothing, which I will so state in the listing. I would never purposefully falsify an item description, but I am human and occasionally I make a mistake. I always welcome positive input from the eBay community. Since "good condition" is subjective, you should find the following key helpful.

New/unused -- self explanatory

Like New, Pristine -- no sign of use

Excellent -- little sign of use -- any wear will be noted

Very Good -- no chips, cracks or dings -- any wear will be noted

Good -- shows signs of normal use -- any wear will be noted

Good used -- obvious signs of use

I rarely list anything in fair or poor condition, unless an item is of such rarity that it is still desirable.
