IMPORTANT NOTE: Before placing a bid please read this. I thank you in advance for your time and understanding. I have been a power seller for over 4 years. I have over 10,000 feedback, sadly, I have 33 negatives (many of these are from the same buyer who bought several items). While 33 negatives is a very sad thing, I want to let you know that Hatchling's Haven strives to please every customer. 2007 brought the severe illness of my husband, which caused him to be hospitalized for months at a time. He is now no longer with us, and I have been trying to handle the orders and the household by myself. Please note, I ship 1 time per week. It takes me a full day with the help of family and friends to package up orders for the week, plus the time to drive and ship the packages at a nearby post office. I try to answer all emails within a couple of days. Bad weather has also caused some delays (please see KS/OK border snowstorms). As for the bad feedback, please note - I have offered everyone a FULL refund if there is a problem that can not be corrected via replacement item, insurance claim, or USPS tracking. I can not control the speed of media mail or parcel post. If you don't contact me about a problem, I can't fix it! Please note, if there is a problem, I too am a human and accusations, foul langauge and threats are unfair and unkind. I value my customers and promise to make things right. The majority of my ebay friends have all gone through rough times and are incredibly understanding. I am working hard to get things running more smoothly and really appreciate all of my customers. Sorry to ramble, but I thought this message was needed.

Thanks to everyone who has shopped Hatchling's Haven Store. We plan to increase the inventory this fall and we currently add new items 4-5 times a week. I am more than happy to combine shipping and accept best offers. Please note, I can not accept best offers over 40 percent off! I understand the lure of a bargain, but I do pay ebay and paypal fees, plus the cost of the items. I try to keep my prices & shipping costs fair. If you have any questions feel free to email me :)

I try to provide shabby yet chic items, great country primitive items, and fun (sometimes funky) retro items. I buy my items at estate sales, auctions and from private estates. I never sell items that I would not proudly display in my own home.
Please review my policies below before bidding:
IMPORTANT NOTE: ALL items are from a pet friendly, smoke free clean home. I leave washing, pressing and gentle cleaning up to the buyer. At this time I ONLY ship once a week. I am happy to ship sooner upon request, but you must ask (please ask at least 24-48 hours before you need the item shipped). Your item will be shipped with 7 business days (at the VERY latest). I live in a very small town and my post office has very odd hours. Often I travel to a post office 40 miles away, so please understand I can not ship items out daily.
Also, please give me 24- 48 hours to respond to emails. Please understand, this is my business and I take pride in what I do. My buyers are great and I want them to be happy. I am ALWAYS happy to work with you. If a problem should arise please email me (before leaving feedback).
I hate to have to put the following in, but it seems to be necessary.
I now require insurance or tracking (45 cents on priority packages or 55 cents on parcel) due to one bad experience. Some people refuse to pay the extra - please understand this is my full time business. I am not set up to print postage from my computer, so I end up paying out of my pocket for tracking.
When you ship out 100+ items a week tracking can become expensive. If you need help figuring out how to add it to your invoice just email me - I will happily resend one. If you don't pay for this, you are not following my auction rules - and I will email a copy of this to Paypal or ebay if need be. I hate to have to say this, but one dishonest buyer can make things horrible for a seller. I do not accept returns if the item does not fit or the color does not match your home exactly. For example"pink" or "red" can come in a variety of different shades. Measurements that say "approx." are not exact, but as close as I can get. Also, if you are confused about anything in the ad ask me questions PRIOR TO BIDDING. Refunds are not given unless there is clearly a mistake that affects the item or its value in the listing. If there ever is a mistake on my part, just email me and I will be more than happy to fix it ASAP. Buyer's remorse is not an acceptable excuse for a return. If you need the item sooner, contact me for the adjusted rate and I can ship your item via USPS priority or express mail. International bidders - I am happy to have you shop my auctions! I will not and mark the item as a gift on the customs form, but other as the post office advised me. Your shipping rate will be more, do not send payment until you have contacted me for adjusted rate. I am sorry if these policies sound harsh, but a few difficult buyers have forced me to implement these additions to my policies.
