The View from our Hawk Haven Home

     Hello, it's nice you dropped by. My name is Marianne along with my husband Kenny and this is a little story of how our eBay store began.

     Hawk Haven Gifts was started in the spring of 2004 as a hobby. On weekends I would travel to fairs and festivals setting up a vender's booth, filled with home decor and gift items. I LOVED IT!!!

    In the fall of 2004 after 12 years, my 12-hour a day, 6 days a week job working in the corporate world, it got the best of me. It was either quit or check into the funny farm.  So I turned in my resignation.

     What to do now??? So the winter of 2005 I opened my eBay store. I am enjoying talking to the eBay members I meet through emails. My repeat customers, who often drop me a line, have become "friends". I feel the experience and knowledge I have obtained from my vender's booth and my old corporate job (as a quality technician), has lead me here. I am sensitive to the needs, desires, and circumstances of my customers; I also want them to receive the best quality of service and merchandise. For this reason my customer's happiness comes first and everything else comes 2nd. I realize you cannot make everyone happy all the time; but I do my best to try. Since I opened our eBay store my husband, Kenny has joined me. We are both very proud of the fact that we still have 100% positive feed back from our customers. We enjoy working together and on weekends we go treasure hunting for great new, like new, and vintage items to add to our eBay store. I love it that Kenny joined me; he enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, etc. and knows what other outdoors sportsmen are interested in. He finds great items for both men and women alike. He is a great asset and I would not trade him for anything.
