The name is actually a combination of some of my interests. I use to help raise African pygmy hedgehogs for a local breeder and have had several as pets. And I have two cats. I needed a simple name to remember while I'm on eBay so I simply combined hedgehogs + cats + eBay.

A little about me. I've lived in Anchorage, Alaska since 1980. I came here to visit my best friend and fell in love with this gorgeous state and simply stayed. I am an incurable pack rat. I come from a long line of pack rats so I've learned to live with it. I'm also a thrift store / garage sale addict. One of my passions is collecting children's books but I collect so many other treasures that my house is bursting at the seams. I am semi-retired and suppliment my income by selling on eBay.

As a seller I stand behind everything I sell. Of course I make mistakes! But when I do it is never going to be the buyer who suffers for it. I wish every seller had that philosophy. Many do, some do not. I sell a huge variety of stuff but mainly books, toys, dishes, and collectibles. Some items come from my own personal collection while others are from thrift stores and private sales. I will continue to sell on eBay as long as it stays fun and I am physically able to do it. Arthritis in my hands has made the process of packing and shipping a bit more difficult but I still manage.
