Hi! My name is Helen and I created this organization to provide Top Quality, Low Cost products to the Slot Car Enthusiast. Don't let our low prices fool you. We sell a world class line of products second to none!!
I worked several years in a Rapid Prototype Shop. Most of our products were medical / surgial equipment. Very precise tolerances but not very inspiring product. However, I met many fascinating people and have been fortunate enough to pick up the fun side of the modeling trade through them. Many of the toys and action figures common to the majority of households in the USA were sculpted or designed by friends of mine. I have been VERY fortunate to have become acquainted with these people.
In addition, I have been racing and collecting slot cars for years. I was very frustrated with the lack of support for the hobby. Tires get old. Stock tires are not great tires in the first place. You crash a car and break a detail or bust a body. You just want something different from what the manufacturers offer. You need spare parts or you want to pick up some new or used cars to race with. What do you do? If you are LUCKY there is a Hobby Shop or Racers Club near you. And if you are REALLY Lucky they won't charge you an arm AND a leg for the stuff.
It was the perfect marriage of skills and passion. So, I created Hellonwheels8. We have our own line of tires, bodies, and replacement parts. We also sell New and Used Cars. We began on eBay in 2005 and have thousands of transactions with Happy Customers. We have hundreds of body styles to choose from and are doing more all the time.
