I started selling on eBay the end of April 2005 with lots of encouragement from my best friend.  She had lots of stuff to sell and asked me to sell her antiques & collectibles on consignment.  At the time I was between jobs and thought, why not?! I'll give it "the old college try"!

I am now hooked on eBay!  That same friend signed me up as a member of eBay years ago, but I never bought or sold anything.  I was a little nervous about the whole on-line shopping thing.  Man, have I gotten past that!  Last year I did all my Christmas shopping on-line, mainly on eBay! 

Now that I have found eBay, I'll probably do all my shopping on eBay!  I can't wait! 

I had to sell my house and move last year,so that really shut me down for a while, but I am getting back into the swing of things now and I'm ready to start listing regularly again. I have even taken on a couple of new consignment customers. 

In the past, I bought and listed a lot of things kids would be interested in, like trading cards, plush toys, dolls, etc.  I'm sure I still will do so. However, I love collectible glass and crystal, dinnerware or tableware (stuff for the kitchen & dining room), so I hope to get into that more in the future....both buying and selling hopefully.

My plan is to sell a variety of things and not specifically a few items.  I would get too bored doing that!  Some say that is not the best idea.  We will just have to see what happens.  It's all fairly new and exciting and I am really enjoying myself!
