Do you believe in love at first sight?  We are proof that it can happen.  We met at an Eagles Convention in July 1998 in Spokane where Tom came over from Everett to be a delegate for his lodge.  He walked into the bar that night and was invited to join some friends, I was sitting at the same table.  Since it was in the heat of the summer, we were both wearing shorts, our knees touched under the table and we were goners.  We spent every available moment together for the next 4 days of that convention.  The time came to say goodbye and send Tom back to Everett and to take with him the memories of our week.  As I moped around my house, pining away for a man I thought I would never see again, he was doing the same on the other side of the state.  The next Monday I get a call at work from Tom, saying he is on his way back to Spokane.  My heart skipped a beat and I couldn't wait to see him again.  We arranged to meet at the Swinging Doors and after Tom finally found his way north from the freeway, we again were face to face.  We both seemed to know at that moment we were lifetime soulmates.  After 8 years of being together, we finally made it forever and married on August 19th of 2006.  Our lives were now meshed together forever.
