Let's talk about my most recent negative feedback I have received:

Here's the TRUTH:

I bid on an auction, won, and paid IMMEDIATELY after the auction ended via PayPal. Item was sent promptly, I opened up the box and it was someone else's item. "Okay," I said to myself, "I actually did this once as a seller myself, I'll cut her some slack." So I contacted the seller, let her know, and the other buyer agreed we would ship directly to each other, and the seller would reimburse each of us the cost of shipping. Because I used my PayPal to pay for the re-shipping, I asked her to please send me my reimbursement through PayPal to keep it simple and get me my money back as soon as possible. She INSISTED on sending a CHECK instead. I had to WAIT to get my money back, and then wait for a check to clear. I was not too happy, but still willing to cut her some slack and leave a positive feedback after she did so for me. To me, when a buyer fulfills their obligation and pays promptly, their portion of the transacation has ended, and positive feedback is merited. She REFUSED to leave me feedback, despite numerous requests. At this point, I was miffed. Here I had been an understanding buyer, bending over backwards to help her out with HER screw up, and she didn't even have the decency to leave me a positive rating. And so, I left her a neutral. Even though I was upset about the transaction, I still refused to leave her a negative rating which would mar her reputation.

So what do I get in response? I get called a PSYCHO and get accused of threatening, lying, and harassing her. My friends, it's nothing but the retaliation of a pathetic seller. Just look at my record vs. hers. Prior to her negative, my other two negatives were deserved---I DID ship very late, and despite keeping in contact with the buyers as I attempted to sort out my life at the time, they were unhappy. So they negged me, and justifiably. But this seller who calls me a psycho and accuses me of threatening, lying, and harassing her? NO. She is just a small-minded seller who has yet to grow up enough to realize Ebay is a BUSINESS and you must treat your customers right or they will go elsewhere.
