THIS STARTED OUT AS A PART TIME OPERATION IN 1999. I WAS LISTING AND SELLING ABOUT 10 GENERAL ITEMS A WEEK BUT WHEN I STARTED AUCTIONING OFF CAR AND MOTORCYCLE PARTS IN AUG. OF 2003, I WAS TOTALLY UNPREPARED FOR THE OVERWHELMING RESPONSE. WITHIN 2 MONTHS I WAS SELLING OVER 150 PARTS A MONTH. I WANT TO THANK YOU EBAYERS THAT MADE THIS POSSIBLE. I REMOVE MY PARTS AND IMMEDIATELY ETCH THE PARTS WITH THE YEAR, MAKE, MODEL. I THEN WASH OR CLEAN THEM. NEXT I INSPECT, PHOTOGRAPH AND DESCRIBE THEM AS HONESTLY AND ACCURATELY AS POSSIBLE. IT IS A WASTE OF TIME FOR ME TO MISLEAD YOU BY NOT MENTIONING A FLAW OR DEFECT AND THEN HAVE TO TAKE MY PART BACK AND PAY THE RETURN POSTAGE AND GIVE A REFUND. THEY ARE THEN PLACED INTO ONE OF 60 STORAGE CONTAINERS IN 5 DIFFERENT LOCATIONS UNTILL THEY ARE SOLD. THEY ARE THEN CAREFULLY BOXED AND SENT TO YOU IN THE SAME CONDITION AS YOU SEE IT ON EBAY.
I AM TRULY GRATEFUL FOR THE OPPORTUNITY EBAY HAS GIVEN ME AND I WANT TO ASSURE POTENTIAL BUYERS THAT I WILL NOT DO ANYTHING TO JEOPARIZE THIS. I SELL OVER $12,000.00 AND OVER 300 PARTS A MONTH. FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT FEEL YOU MIGHT BE GETTING CHEATED, PLEASE READ AND TAKE NOTE OF THE NUMBER OF POSITIVE FEEDBACKS AND THEIR REMARKS. I AM NOT DOING THIS TO WRONGLY KEEP SOMEONE'S $50.00 OR SELL A PART WITH AN UNMENTIONED DEFECT. I CAN'T SEND PARTS TO THOSE BUYERS WHOSE MONEY ORDERS GET LOST IN THE MAIL AND DO NOT REACH ME OR HAVE NO EBAY ITEM INFORMATION. AS OF 7/13/08, I HAVE 16 MONEY ORDERS AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT ITEMS THEY ARE FOR.....
MOST PROBLEMS STEM FROM:
1. E-MAIL THAT GOT DIVERTED TO MY SPAM FOLDER, OR THAT I ACCIDENTLY DELETED AS ADVERTISING. I GET ABOUT 80 EMAILS A DAY.
2. FOREIGN BUYERS WHO ONLY WANT TO PAY FOR DOMESTIC POSTAGE & SHIPPING, WHICH IS USUALLY ABOUT $25.00 LESS.
3. BUYERS WHO SEND ME MONEY ORDERS OR CHECKS WITHOUT TELLING ME WHAT THEY ARE BUYING, OR AN EBAY ITEM NUMBER.
4. BUYERS WHO THINK THAT THEY CAN "SWITCH THEIR BROKEN PART WITH MINE". ALL MY ITEMS ARE SECRETLY MARKED SO THAT I CAN DISTINQUISH THEM.
5. PAYPAL NOT NOTIFYING ME THAT AN E-CHECK HAS CLEARED AFTER A 5 DAY HOLDING DELAY.
6. *******BUYERS WHO DO NOT READ "ALL" OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS*******, AND
7. DISAGREEING ON A USED PART'S CONDITION. MOST OF MY PARTS ARE USED WITH VARYING DEGREES OF BLEMISHES AND FLAWS; SCUFFS, SCRATCHES, NICKS OR OTHER ISSUES. I WILL NEVER PURPOSLY OMIT THESE IN THE DESCRIPTION. I AM A ONE MAN SHOW AND IN SELLING AND LISTING ABOUT 300 ITEMS A MONTH, I DO SOMETIMES MISS SOMETHING. JUST LET ME KNOW AND I WILL MAKE ARANGEMENTS TO TAKE IT BACK FOR A FULL REFUND AND RETURN POSTAGE-NO PROBLEM.
I AM HERE FOR THE LONG HAUL AND PLAN TO HAVE OVER 5,000 PARTS BY THE END OF 2008.
I AM SORRY AND DISSAPOINTED THAT MY FEEDBACK IS NOT AT 100%, BUT PLEASE REMEMBER THAT NEGATIVE FEEDBACK ALWAYS SHOWS UP, BUT THERE ARE OVER 1,100 SATISFIED BUYERS WHO DID NOT LEAVE ME POSITIVE FEEDBACK. PLEASE BE ASSURED THAT I WILL FIX ANY REASONABLE PROBLEMS.
