After several frustrating attempts to get a name for myself, lol, I became Hithere1234. E-bay has become my favorite pass-time & hobby. As a busy mother of 3 the flexible hours are appreciated.
Prior to my little delights I owned & managed The Pet Stop in Kogarah for 12 years. A big Hello to the wonderful people I’ve had the pleasure of assisting in the past. With E-Bay I am having fun combining all these loves of mine, (Children, Pets, Buying, and Selling) & also clearing out the house! Wish I could stop filling it back up again!
General Auction Information
I have tried to answer any questions you may have below. To keep things simple for both of us I also have some guidelines of what is expected from bidders & buyers of my listings.
If you are new to E-Bay I am happy to assist in all purchasing steps. Please stay in regular contact & feel free to ask any queries before bidding.

Bric-A-Brac Corner Terms & Conditions
Payment must be received within 7 days of the end of the Auction. If payment is not received, I will not guarantee that your item(s) will be held. In this case I may re-list them or offer them to the next highest bidder.
Non Paying Bidder alerts will be posted if no contact has been made within 7 days of the listings end. I reserve the right to cancel bids by unregistered users or those with multiple bad feedbacks. Newbies please only bid if you intend to pay. It costs money & time to advertise items on E-Bay. I am a busy Mum & both of these are very valuable to me.
Handy Hint for all my details: If you are the Winning bidder on one of my auctions I will send an E-mail within 24 hours, which lists all my details. Alternatively you can click the ‘Pay Now’ link or follow the steps at checkout & my details will be available.
No contact from me? - If I have not contacted you within 48 hours of the listings end, I could be having trouble getting my E-mail to you. Some anti-Spam or virus protection software can prevent my E-mail arriving. I am not always aware that you are not receiving my E-mails (particularly with international E-mail). Please contact me by E-mail, you are generally able to reach me. Occasionally I am simply caught up with family commitments & as a team of one, lol, I will do my best to respond quickly.
ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS
For Australian Buyers I accept:
• Direct Deposit
• Internet Transfer
• Paypal
• Australian Money Order
• Australian Bank/Cashier's Cheque
• Australian Personal Cheques (Postage of your Win is subject to cheque clearance)
For International Buyers I accept:
Paypal (I will invoice in either AU or US Dollars. Please E-mail if you have a preference or it will be AU Dollars.)
I will also accept well concealed US or AU cash, (No Coins). This is at the senders risk & is not recommended by E-bay.
My bank charges AU $50 or more to cash international cheques, unfortunately I cannot accept them.
POST DETAILS
• Postage of your Win is generally done within 24 hours of payment received & cleared, (see my feedback) for large or international parcels I visit the Post Office twice a week. E-mails will be sent to notify you when I have posted an item. All packaging is done well & carefully!
• Combining Wins & Purchases - Feel free to bid on auctions finishing over a 7 day period & combine Wins into one parcel for delivery. You can save a fortune in Post Costs by combining Win's & purchases! Especially in NSW destinations! Please E-mail & let me know you are bidding on more items. Do not complete checkout until you have finished buying. Once advised, I will send an invoice with the discounted post rate.
• On average 1 in 400 of my parcels posted does not arrive, so I recommend insurance. I cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged items in the post. For insurance or a different postal method then offered, please advise me before payment & I will organise it. $3 covers up to $100 Australia wide. International Insurance is $9 AU & covers up to $100 AU.
• Post & Handling Costs for all my listings are listed in the postage section. At the moment this a seperate tab you have to click, located at the top of the item description. Please do not bid if you are unhappy with the quoted price. This charge is not refundable. I keep post & handling as low as I can & use recycled packaging materials where practical.
Pickup is available from Kogarah, Sydney, 2217 with prior arrangement. No charge.
International Post
Insurance on my listings is optional - $9 AU covers up to $100 AU.
I generally post items twice a week
There are 2 choices of Post Options:
Airmail- usually 4 to 21 business days
or Sea Mail - 16 to 21 weeks delivery.
This is a rough delivery time guide, delivery of Wins can be slowed down by customs etc. All international parcels are X-rayed before leaving Australia & then rechecked in the country of arrival. (I always have very slow delivery times where Spain is concerned.)
I cannot track Wins without insurance. Once posted I have no way of knowing where the parcel is. I cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to parcels- unless you have taken insurance. International Wins over $50 AU must have insurance, ($9 AU covers $100 AU). Please get a post quote if not stated in the advert. International post can be very expensive.
Return Policy
All returns must be in original condition & packaging.
Money back option, excluding the original post charge, this is not refundable.
A replacement item will be sent if possible.
Buyers choice of a refund or a replacement product.
Return post is at the buyer expense, the replacement item will be sent at mine.
If you have kept the original packaging, items can be returned in this. Simply mark return to sender & there is no cost to you.
Refunds are not given for items that the Post Office breaks or loses, unless insured-registered.
• Feedback- Please leave feedback for me once your item arrives safely & you are happy. If for some reason you are not happy, contact me prior to leaving negative feedback for resolution. I will always reach a happy conclusion for both of us!
• Bid or buy with Confidence! - My feedback speaks for itself. I do my best & hope to trade with you again in the future. I only sell quality products in good or new condition. All items are checked before auction & rechecked on packing.
