Hey, better late than never...how long has ebay existed anyways? I think my girlfriend's niece sold a couple of Beanie Babies of mine for me when those were all the rage and it still took me this long to try ebay for myself! Whoops!!!

Anything I put up for bid is from a non-smoking home environment and I am the biggest kid in the room so nothing of my collection has been chewed on, drooled on, faded or ruffed-up! 

Just thought this would be a better place to have an apartment sale as I bet sales from the 3rd floor would be less than fruitful for me!

If you have questions about any items I am selling; please do not hesitate to ask! I also sell items for friends and family and I will advise about the condition of the items in each ad.

Plus I have heard from many buyers now who enthusiastically agreed that I am a darn, good packaging shipper! I take pride in what I have sold to anyone because I make every effort to ensure that my stuff in a box could handle being thrown about the airplane luggage room by a wild, gorilla like was the commercial from the 70's here in USA; anyone else remember that advertisement??? Back to the point, is that I want to make sure that you are receiving the item(s) I have had and maintained in my possession in the same condition as I have listed them on Ebay and when you receive in the mail. All of my invoices however do give you a choice to apply Insurance on shipments and I Require Insurance when the price of the item is valued over $100USD.

UPS as the shipper gives the best value if you want free tracking and the 1st hundred dollars of value of insurance is free on their handling the shipment whereas shipping with USPS charges you individually on additional services! I do offer both in most cases on all of my merchandise and if you buy from me in multiples or different items -- I am more than happy to combine shipping to save you MORE $$$$$!!! • I currently am a 5-year school bus driver worked w/various age groups of KD thru H.S.students & corporate charters! I love what I do for a living & cannot wait to get back to it -- if I possibly can after the "DOC" fixes me up!
• I have been side-lined since November 02,2004    due to a low back injury! (L5-S1 Ruptured,L4 herniated & misaligned, L-3 herniated; all 3 discs are compressed)
• I'm still waiting on my discogram & surgery...(12.09.05 still waiting)
• UPDATE: As of 05/20/05: Workman's comp. has denied my claims and I am no longer going to receive the workman's compensation I am entitled to!  "lovely, just lovely!"
• UPDATE: As of 07/31/05: Workman's comp. has denied any claims on the discography; so that brings everything I have accomplished this far to a screeching halt!
• per my doctor's if I dont get the discography, I cannot have the fusion surgery, and I am still unable to work so there goes 2006 for regaining my life back!

• And many thanks to Pam Miller for taking many of the photos of the ebay items for sale w/her webcam & getting my laundry downstairs & back up again, going to the pantries for me when I was unable to attend and claim my household, making me dinner, allowing me to stay at her home when my apt. was too cold even for my medicine to be allowed to stay there!! I could go on and on for all the time Pam and her daughter Autumn have helped me out doing some of the most basic and everyday tasks and errands and I will because they did it all so unselfishly and usually when I didn't know how to ask because I am so unaccustommed to asking for help for myself. Thank you Pam for inviting me to all of the Laidlaw Christmas Events for the drivers and taking the initiative to talk the supervisors of Laidlaw into printing me tickets for myself and additional friend to attend the driver/monitor events!! I always thought Pam was a super friend that I didnt get to see that much of because our schedules didnt meet too often at work and now that Im injured she is the one who consistantly keeps in touch with me and is always ready to make sure that if I need her help that she is available to come over and this is from the gal who doesnt drive, doesnt own a car and lives almost 14 miles away from my apt!! She's the one who makes all the effort to be handy for me whenever I need her and more!! Thanks also goes to her daughter, Autumn, who drives her mom home from my apt after Pam gets a ride from someone at work or just walks over because I live so close to the Laidlaw workplace! Thanks also to Autumn for helping her mom who in turn helps me. Many times Autumn does the laundry for me and her mom, so her mom can visit with me upstairs! These ladies are both angels in my book!!
• Many thanks to Linda Kelley (another bus driver Ive worked with & great friend I have bowled with before my work-related injury and have socialized with afterwork with our other friends ((all school bus drivers)) for keeping in touch with me and bringing stuff up to the 3rd floor out of my car for me. Including bringing up groceries that I would have to bring up a couple of cans at a time in order to make dinner upstairs instead of letting me eat in the car with my manual can opener!! Many times she has picked me up after she is done at work and takes me out to a restaurant so we can converse and I dont eat in the car! Linda is always available to me via the phone whenever I call or if I need a ride somewhere she is one of my other drivers who is willing to drive me anywhere I need to go! Another one of my co-workers who became a part of my family when I stayed more than a year and who I really know I can depend on especially after getting hurt on the job and luckily she only lives a couple of apt bldg's east of mine. She is always on the clock and works many long hours filling in at other Laidlaw work yards so besides being on the clock she is driving many miles for a job and I try not to bother her with too much from me but she is a great listening ear many days for me.

• Bruce "Floyd" Cox for suggesting me to selling on EBAY & taking me & Tiny out to Ponderosa,Cracker Barrel,Long John Silver's, or Nikkary's for a break from these four walls! Thank you Floyd for listening when I needed to vent and (and still listening) and for making the arrangements so I could be transported down to Leroy, IL,  for the town's BluesFest that you played in several bands with. Live Music certainly does save one's soul and is so much more difficult to obtain when my mobility has become an issue to deal and adapt on a daily basis. Thanks for believing along side of me that there will be an end to all of this as long as I remain patient that my attorney will prevail in my behalf in court so that I can continue to get the care and treatment that I need until I can get my back fixed. I sure hope there is still a way as I try my hardest to remain patient through it all. 
• Thank you also for inviting me out to the FARM to introduce me to your parents with whom I try to keep in touch with via phone or snail mail whenever I get the chance. You have a big heart Floyd and you should be blessed for all that you do for everyone. If you havent felt as if you are yet, I guarantee you will be in years to come for all your endevours and efforts! You are one of the sweetest, Brothers, I've ever met and I promise you that you and I will be friends forever and we have Tiny to thank for that union.

• Laura Siebert & Tor Jenkins for coming over in the middle of winter with gloves and other goodies, thanks for keeping in touch and all the emails! And Laura for recommending that your oldest son, Buzz, come over to my apt. one day to aid me with some heavy boxes that Tiny left upstairs that needed to be put in my car that neither one of us could ever have lifted. Buzz, of course, made it look like he carried each batch of boxes in one hand and didnt even make it look like he strained anywhere while completing the task. 
• I could barely walk behind him to open doors and open the car up so he could put stuff in it and yet he never made me feel bad that I couldnt take care of this matter which took him only a matter of moments to handle when it took me over 3 months to attempt finding someone to come over to my apt to do such a simple task but the simplest things are made so much harder when a person cannot do for themselves like they once did! Really, thanks for sending him, because he caught my eye again; just like he did ten years ago. Its been three glorious years so far! He's better than just a boyfriend; he's the best care-giver and friend I could crossed paths with! Buzz is so special to me because he is special himself!
• Thanks Dan Sabia for starting the ball rolling for me in my sales on EBAY! I hope to be able to visit your neck of the woods in Alabama and see just how beautiful your town of Scottsboro really is for myself. That will be quite the visit because it wont be until my back is fixed. Damn, do i miss being able to jump into whatever set of wheels is around my place and taking off for the weekend to see somewhere new and hang out with friends. It breaks my heart everytime I look at the car and know that a 30 minute trip to where-ever feels like a chore nowadays and not like it used. I sure hope that feel good feeling returns when I can drive like I used to.

• If I missed anyone, please remember I was on all sorts of painkillers & muscle relaxers & etc. since Nov.2nd, 2004;  I've tried to stop taking them since I dont like living with my brain numb -- the pills dont do the job right!! But it is horrible trying to manage without them and I have even advised and asked my pain doc if I am going to be addicted after four years of daily medicines that make me ill to take them and ill if I dont take them...its not a pretty situation!! And he assures me there are easy ways of helping the patients off but I know deep down that as soon as my back is truely fixed I wont need the meds because I wont be in pain anymore!!
• I'll keep taking each day; day by day...all I can say is I'm hangin' in there!
• UPDATE: 08.22.05 finally got the dreaded pink slip in the mail from my employer: LAIDLAW - cannot get "unemployment compensation" because the doctors have never released me to return to work; so you cant get unemployment if you cant work any job!! Sure, would have been nice since I did fully work the four quarters of the calendar year and would have been rightfully owed it had it been any other situation I could have claimed my unemployment wages but because I was injured trying to help out my employer who also was in a situation and asked me to help out in that situation and asked me to perform mechanical tasks while the bus was broke down on the side of the road during am home to school route. I personally think the shop manager asked me continually do to the work because they knew I would "want to help" getting the kids to school and ooops,,, oh well, I got hurt attempting to help out when I should have flatly refused the requested task per Union regulations but when anyone used that method in their course of actions with members of management; the office & shop staff -- gave those employees the cold shoulder and extra bullshit because you were utilizing the Union's power -- I should have, of course, since I was paying Union Dues out of every check but it wasnt a thought that ever crossed my mind! Of course, that just my opinion and if I would ever have to help kids going to or from school or whereever it would be and it were possible I may get injured in the process...A) I would hope there would be a safer way to do it but if not it would still be worth it if I got the kids there even if it meant I would have to suffer for it. Just the way I feel. It is never the kids' fault-- it was my employers' lack of compassion by allowing a shop manager to voice over the two-way radio for employees like me and others I had previously heard be requested to perform job skills for which they were not trained or suffer the consquences for not following a shop manager's verbal request because he would not send a tow truck out for a school bus broke down on the road in DuPage County over 20 miles from the bus branch in Kane County! Even after performing the shutting off of valves under the hood and unloading my passengers into another bus to continue them on their route to school; I would either have to wait for hours in the elements for another mechanic from a different school bus company to come to my aid or else I would have to "nurse" my bus back to the Batavia yard so the company would not have to pay for a commercial tow truck!!! Apparently, my back was considered expendable even though children who should be their first priority were also not even considered since they, too, had to put up with this bus that broke down on a daily basis!! Im sure the shop manager had no idea my back would finally give out since I was unaware myself that I was opening the bus hood wrong every time and after so much repetition of doing the task wrong I finally blew out my back/discs!! I am mostly positive that he would never have asked me to do those tasks under the hood had it been a safety measure put into place by the employer originally; but when a shop manager or any member of management asks the drivers to do a certain task just to make things easier for their day because now they have more paperwork and time to set aside for my bus matter/mechanical failures that are going to change their plans/goals for the day...it becomes this huge issue for the shop manager and he takes it out on us lowly pee-ons who just drive a bus for a living!! I didnt want to lose out on extra work for extra money because I have a shop manager telling the front office I do not know how to manage the mechanical issues that arise with a bus while on a route so than I will be less likely to be chosen for extra work. Or gossipped about behind my back to the other veteran drivers who have been with the company longer than I in seniority as if I am too stupid to handle a bus on my own! Thats the worst because I watched and listened to it happen to many drivers at that branch who had just gotten their CDL licenses and are just starting to fit in with their kids on their assigned routes and then you have to deal with all the gossip floating around the office set in place by management and staff which is very demeaning and offensive. If we are all talking about teamwork then it would really be cool if we were all hitting "homers" for the same team and not be so divided but after one year of fitting in and achieving some seniority of my own -- that's all I saw at this branch. The other drivers and monitors are great people but some members of management were of the rudest nature and really shouldnt have been kept in the positions of management when they couldnt manage a paper bag let alone people, people's feelings, people's respect or children's well-being for that matter!! I now know why so many employees' continue to vote in a union because LAIDLAW is never a fair fight to work for and its such a shame because fairness should embody this team effort put on by the majority of the players but because we all know we have to put on a happy face and not let the kids know what we drivers and monitors were putting up with just to get by in our daily lives for work -- that's why the problem continues to repeat itself and nothing ever gets solved!! Thats maybe also why when there are folks like myself who make comments on this matter because they are now stuck being disabled because of these kinds of mistakes made by the management staff in charge of the buses and the drivers who drive them that the matter is brought into the light to be focused upon and to be corrected so others do not have to deal with what a person like myself will have to live with for the rest of my life!!! Because mistakes cost everyone not just one and it is simply not fair!! It doesnt make sense to make others go beyond their skill level just because you can gossip about it for a week on someone else's expense with your "friends"! Its not cool! Thats enough from me and my soapbox...the one I cannot stand on anymore because I am afraid I will fall off of it when I keep losing my balance. But I will sit beside it in a chair with wheel instead of behind the wheel of my 40ft yellow stick of butter because I cannot even fathom taking the kids to school and home because that joy was taken from me as well in the whole process of this mess, too!

• I miss my independent self...I have no life anymore,...have to calculate every move, feel like a rat trapped in my cage aka body. This isnt the rat race I thought I was running!!!!!
• This "CRAP" is getting older than me real fast! It doesnt have to be a perfect life just one I can deal with again. One I can have fun with again! One I could...(fill in your favorite MAD LIB here)!!!

• UPDATE: got a call from my attorney, I didn't have to show up in court; the other dr & atty for my company "threw in the towel" when it was proven in court with my MRI's about my injury & condition!
• Finally, had the discography on March 3rd,2006, and it still shows a clean & clear view of the problem for the doctor. However, I was also finger-pricked in the hospital and my blood-glucose was very high for someone who had fasted for 13 plus hours so with the entire staff I had that day focused their personal assistance & persistance to me--to get checked out further on the blood-glucose issue; I did and come to find out that I am diabetic Type 2 with Hypoglycemia! Well, never a dull moment again!! I didn't know about the hypoglycemia for a month after the original diagosis but it helps explain why i kept finding myself on the floor like a wilted flower because I completely got rid of any sugar or starches from my diet when I first found out what was making me so sick!
• Its just good to know that I can still stash some Oreo cookies in the glove box of my car and not feel guilty I had one!!!
• Did my F.C.E. yesterday 06.06.06..kinda funny it was scheduled for the 666 day of the year!
• I am all ready to be fixed so I can regain my life again; did ya hear me Doc?! As I re-read this last sentence my sense of humor is chuckling at the me-getting-fixed part like I'm talking about being spayed or neutered by the doctor...Probably about the same difference/procedure anyways!!!
• UPDATE: 10/26/06 well, alot has been done or alot of nonsense has been done and im no better off than i was before but I am more tired! Was in a rear-end car crash(june 11) by another anxious driver who couldnt wait for the officers that I called to come to our aid. Luckily, I checked out the damages and memorized the driver's license plate number and was able to give an accurate description to the officers when they did arrive which was only a minute from when the other driver left the scene of the accident. Other officers caught up with that driver about 5 blocks away and arrested the driver for leaving the scene of an accident with injuries and towed the vehicle and made the rest of the passengers take cabs home because they could not drive the vehicle either...<<that's a big RED FLAG in my book>> but I'll let you, the reader decide!!!
• the car accident caused my neck injury C5,C6 &C7 are herniated and totalled my station wagon. It was an old car but I just had major repair done to it and it should have easily lasted me a few more years before needing more major work!!
• I attemped to live without transportation for almost 2 months and taxis are way too expensive but i had no choice because most of my friends or family live too far away so a lot of times i stayed home or would occasionally hitch rides with friends and neighbors when schedules allowed them. I have to agree with my doctors for once that YES, I AM DEPRESSED WHEN I DONT HAVE WHEELS THAT ARE OPERATIONAL 24/7 -- OTHERWISE I AM A NORMAL PERSON! That is a normal person who is in pain 24/7 and swallowing prescribed pills to get by but is ill all the time whether I take the pills or by not taking the pills because I hate swallowing pills just the same and then I have to deal with withdrawls (which are a bitch!) so there is no getting away from it even for a break unless I want to feel the pain but then I got to think: at least I feel the pain because I certainly know there are folks dealing with conditions much worse than mine like MS or other paralysis where they can't feel certain parts of their body and I have to think that is a much worse situation to be in so I have to count my blessings that I am not in their predictament!! But, i think that is also what makes me depressed about my condition & situation is that I have the mind-set to keep going and I keep trying to push myself everyday not to give up because I dont want to become dependant on a wheelchair or scooter for mobility and I would love to go do things *anything* for fun like I used to do with socializing, volunteering, & etc. and because I cannot anymore...I think i become depressed because I want to and I cant do it and I have learned to accept its always going to be different now but I have never been one of those people who just accept what the outcome is going to be if I know I can do something to change the outcome and make things better...unfortunately, this case seems to be a bit out of my league!! But, I havent given up! I dont care when people stare at me because I cant stand up straight, walk really slow, walk with a horrible gimp because my siatica down the right leg makes me walk crooked or twisted up! Fuckkk it! At least, I am upright & breathing! Obviously, runway model will never be in my future and who the hell am I trying to impress anyways???!! I am glad I tried to get out for the day and I only might have made it a mile away to the Walmart Supercenter to land a cart in the parking lot next to the handicapped parking spot so I can lean on it to walk inside the store to one of their motorized carts but I at least made the effort! It might not be pretty but I still made it! It might be all the energy I have for the day but it was worth it because I made it out of my apt.! What a big difference = before 2000, going to Ozzfest concerts via a 1974 Cadillac Hearse where I could sleep in the back for as long as the tour was in town and the surrounding towns in Wisc & Ohio to being just lucky enough to making it a mile from my home to shop at a friggin Walmart as my sole entertainment for the week! It sucks but its what I am living right now...
• I saved up ebay store sales for a used '88 Jeep Cherokee Pioneer for $350.00 just to have wheels again. Cars that are hauled out of demolition derbys and stock cars races-- exterior condition were better than the jalopy I got; but it ran!! It ran long enough for me to switch the title to my name ($65) & buy new plates and registration ($124) and in less than two weeks the engine block - heads cracked and radiator fluid and the motor oil mingled and danced together for another week and a half as I tried to salvage the fact the I just lost everything I saved the last year in ebay sales on this piece of crap!!!!
• To justify it to myself, this bit of unpleasureable life experience I mentioned above, was still cheaper than a rental car that when I turned it back in for about the same price after 2 weeks and maybe an extra weekend value rate, i would have nothing to show except a paper receipt. Whereas, I still owned a paper title (an acceptable bit for my local junking yard/salvage company), plates that were transferrable for the next prize-winner set of wheels I would acquire in the future, and the pride in knowing that I didnt have to ask anyone for rides anywhere for about a month and that it was mine and only mine! I had a ride so UGLY no one would JACK-ME at stoplights or dark parking lots and I apparently made a large cash donation to folks who were about to lose the rest of the crap they own at a public storage locker!!! With so many positives out there for everyone I helped but myself in this equation...I should have no right to complain about the matter or feel like I was duped; should I?????!!!
• Waited 3 months for a 2nd doctors opinion about a back surgery since Dr #1 tells me it wont work for my condition and it could make it worse so guess what, 3 months later and 3 days after my 34th birthday, Dr#2 agrees with Dr#1 and says no on back surgery.
• Dr#1 is treating me for my neck injury for the car accident and in that matter was ready to make me the surgery appointment before I had the chance to leave his office!!!
• I have one other doctor who teams with DR#1 and is a pain management specialist and does my steroid injections or epidural lumbar injections recommend to either do nothing or try a neuro-spine procedure where the disc is heated or cooked like a hard-boiled egg which shrinks the disc to elimate pain. has a 50/50 success rate but I need to look up more info before heading in that direction as I continue to lose options faster than gain new ones!
• Sept 2007 - I am referred to a new pain doc - Dr. Goodman from the IL Bone & Spine Institute of Greater Chicago. He is a thorough and wonderful man who has helped me greatly even though his hands remain tied at truely treating me fully because of my new employer First Student who bought out Laidlaw in the beginning of 2007 has sent me to this quack doctor downtown in the city who threw a major monkey wrench into my case and now I have not received AGAIN my workman's compensation for my back injury or any of the treatments that my doctor proposes to my benefit because I have not gained Workman Comp. approval until my attorney AGAIN has to prevail in court! I am over two years scraping by without the correct monitary funds due me. The only thing my pain doc can do for me is prescribe painkillers and has also put me on Morphine which helps better with the pain than vicodins do but is harsher on my internal plumbing and I have to take either prescribed laxatives on top of everything else which make me not want to eat or drink water and I have to do both or else I cannot take my medicines correctly and I constantly fight with a multitude of uphill battles because of the extra side effects!! Pain is never pleasant and the side-effects make everything worse! When I do not realize it getting to me because I try to brush it aside and not let it bother me -- then I realize I am depressed and that just quadruples the whole effects! Its enough to make a person give up and I have certainly considered that but I know I cannot give up and have to find the strength to keep fighting it all!
• But its not easy at all and I hate to admit it at times that I keep losing control even though I try my damnest to stay on top of it all! Thats why I thank so many for all they have done for me because I do not think I could have made it this far if I didnt have so many cheering me on!
