So glad you took a moment to see what
Soaps and Sundries is all about!
I'm just a one-girl operation
with a small herd of
nanny goats of questionable breed, but boy, do they work hard for me,
producing lots of fresh goat milk!
We're a Christian family,
with 4 "lambs" (er, kids....er...children) of our own. We are straight
followers of Jesus,first and foremost , after that comes everything else :o)
I started the business when we began to realize that we were "poor
farmers",and that we would most likely stay that way,unless we found a way
to supplement our income. We homeschool our children ,so I didn't think it
would work to find a job outside the home. I'd been making soap for several
years because of our homesteading life ,and we had just gotten a computer
and the internet for school, so it basically just led from one thing to
another! We're having a ball, and thought we'd add some pictures of the "ladies"!:o)
I'm a terrible photographer, and these are not purebreds,LOL, but we love
them, and the milk they give is just as sweet!! I hope you enjoy them and
the rest of the "farm family" as well! And maybe have a good laugh,too ! :o)

Since my husband is home again, and disabled,
this is our sole income. My son now works by my side, as my apprentice, and
the rest of the family helps in the cutting and stacking, so really everyone
pitches in! I do the packing and shipping myself, as well as the computer
work, so your questions will always be answered by little ol' me, Trisha.
We are praying for a bigger
workshop, and hope to be able to do this within the next year - we're runnin'
out of room! We make, cut and stack approx. 1,500 - 2,000 bars of soap per
week, and it just seems we're trippin' over ourselves anymore.
Every single purchase that
you make makes our income possible, and keeps our nanny girls fat and
happy, not to mention the chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits, pigs......lol, so
