Hi & Welcome to HoneyBeadzDesigns!
We are a husband and wife lampworking team from Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
Our little "HoneyBee"
spokesmodel is our daughter Emma...who is quickly approaching 7 years old...and
it is all about her!
She is our inspiration and the whole reason we are in the "Bead"
business!
Our venture started when my mother gave me a "mommy bracelet" right after I had
Emma and I wanted to
add my step son, Shane's name to my bracelet...so I took a class and have
been beading ever since! About 4 years ago my husband took a lampworking
class (after a little nudging from me...OK...a lot of nudging! LOL) from a
local artist and immediately he was hooked on glass! He slowly taught me the
basics and his tips & tricks too ...and here we are...both hooked on glass!
It took our business in a totally new direction...now we actually supply
other jewelry artists with lampwork beads! Lampwork has given us a whole new
love for the jewelry business and we thoroughly enjoy creating our own color
schemes and designs in each unique bead ...which displays our individual
styles and techniques.
We recently made a huge leap of faith and moved from Charlotte, North Carolina
to Pawleys Island,
South Carolina to pursue our dream of owning and operating our own "Glass
Studio"...Blue Flame Art! This is where we teach the art of glass and
jewelry making, sell our jewelry and beads, consign all mediums of art and
most of all Live our DREAMS!
