HOOKEDONART is what naturally occurred over the years of having had the good fortune of extensive travel. I've seen quite a
selection of art. My heart is closely drawn to the Japanese woodblock prints and watercolor paintings. I have my father to thank,
"THANKS DAD"! It was his love of the Asian culture that spurred my interest, as a child, when he would draw. Of the images I
recall, many were Asian scenes. He spent 3 years in China (1945-8). I was always impressed with his artwork and his silence
of the time spent there after WW II as a Marine helping the Chinese Nationals.
My love of dogs is another weakness. My favorite is the CHOW CHOW. I have purebred and mixed-bred Chows.
Pictured is SAMSON a Chow / wolf hybrid. Samson is the "alpha" male and the oldest of my remaining 3 dogs.
