Hello! Welcome to my About Me page! I have been painting and drawing all of my life. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting and an Associates degree in Advertising and Graphic Design. I have worked as a freelance designer and illustrator for many years, all the while continuing to paint and enter juried shows. My paintings have been exhibited in various juried exhibitions throughout the country, and I have won many awards for my work.

In past years, I have done pencil portraits of both people and animals, pen and ink drawings of various subjects, airbrush paintings in acrylic, realistic oil paintings, and colored pencil drawings. My favorite medium, however, is transparent watercolor. I find watercolors challenging and fun to work with. I use my own slides and photographs as reference, and my favorite subjects are flowers, people, and animals, especially horses. “In all of my work, I like to create a sense of drama with the use of interesting shapes, bright colors, and unusual compostions.”
