How I do pant measurements:
I lay the item on a flat surface. Waist is measured X2. The Hips usually is around the bottom of the zipper area since it tends to be the widest. Measured side to side then x2. The rise is from the seam of the crotch to the top of the pants. Then from bottom of zipper area to top of pants. Seam on inside of pants down to hem. Cuff is laided flat and measured as well.
I try very hard to inspect the item, and be as honest as I can about what flaws may be present. Alot of times I will supply visual as well.
