Hi, I am a commodities and stock trader, former musician and writer (hence the name Johnny Angel) that had heart surgery over a year and a half ago, now. The doctors don't want me doing anything too stressful. So I have returned to one of my favorite things: Numismatics!  When I was a teenager in the late 1970's, I worked in a pinball arcade as electronic coin games were just beginning to become popular. My boss used to let me search for silver coins that I would take to the coin dealer and split the profits. Back then, it was easy pickin's. In 1979 when silver took off, we made a nice profit for little effort. 

Today,  I have an "in" at a couple of banks and I am able to buy bags of coins that come from the counting machine. Not rolls. Bags! These are the coins that some people have kept in coffee cans for decades. It's fun finding Franklin halves, buffalo nickels, and pre-1958 pennies! But lately, the pickin's have been pretty slim. Sometimes I'll search through 1000 dollars of halves and I'll find maybe one or two 40% coins. It's fun. I do the same with paper money as well.

Lately, I have been am delving into other collectible now that I see the potential. I am available for specialty services in Chicago (see my store) and I tutor new eBayers on tips on buying and selling.
