My name is Jayne, and I love lampworking. I feel truly blessed to have discovered such an intriguing, delightful, and intoxicating hobby. Colors inspire and fascinate me...I dream in color.

I'm an ex-RN of 25 years who went back to school for a graphic design degree. I know, what a strange career switch! But when I went to nursing school almost 30 years ago, there was no such thing as graphic design as we know it today...there was just plain "art" which at that time I had not found interesting. I am now employed for a newspaper, designing ads and doing other fun things that don't really seem like work to me.

My studio occupies what used to be a bedroom in my home in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Since I work part-time and do lampworking as a hobby, I'm only able to post a limited number of auctions per week, and don't do special orders. Only my best beads make it to eBay, and I love to experiment like a mad scientist; so if you see something you like, grab it because I may never make it again. I use Vetrofond, Gaffer, Bullseye, Effetre, Caliente, CIM, Reichenbach and Zimmerman glass, as well as the many silvered glasses by GTG, Double Helix, R4 Precision, and others. All my beads are immediately annealed in a digitally controlled kiln and carefully cleaned.
