About My Name

I was born in the USA. My mother's side of the family can trace portions back as far as the Mayflower. Other portions of her family came to the USA as recent as about 1840.

On my father's side, we go back to 1740 something and as recent as 1833.

No one in my family is Asian, though my family has always been taught to respect and appreciate the Asian arts and culture.

The full Ichi jin-rai name is a legal pseudonym of mine. The jin-rai portion was given to me soon after my birth by a Japanese friend of my father. Over the years I have used it for a number of purposes. It does show up on a full gvernment security search as a known AKA of my "birth name".

I am the first born son of my father, hence the "ichi" name. The "jin-rai" name is the descriptive term (or first name like john, joe, doug, paul, etc) that the Japanese gentleman friend of my father bestowed upon me back in 1947.

I was raised in the western United States, generally always within a short distance of the Pacific Ocean. As an adult I have traveled all over the world. I currently make my residence in wonderful Missouri.
