It started with my father, growing up in Vienna, Austria, later coming to the U.S. in 1947 and beginning his trade as a men's clothing tailor and designer. He collected and utilized thousands of different styled buttons and colors.  He stored the collection in the bottom drawer of the chest of drawers in his professional sewing room (with cutting table) in the 3rd bedroom of our house. It always fascinated me, as it did everyone who saw the collection.

After years and years of collecting, I bought a BUTTON COMPANY in 1986 in Cleveland Ohio, which was started in 1935. I purchased all of the old inventory and production machinery to sell buttons to existing garment factories in the MIDWEST and throughout the United Sates. Ebay comes along and I now have a very exciting venue to offer my products.
