PASSION FOR FURS It all started after a minor motorbike accident last year . Nothing important really but enough to keep me in bed for 1 month . Doing nothing just kills me . I considr myself to be a creative and hardworking person and i knew i had to do something , rather than nothing . It was when crisis hit Greece and i had ebay in my mind but never thought of using it since time was very limited . But under the circumstances i said what the heck !! Let's give it a shot and see what happens and here i am !! I come from Siatista ,Greece . An area where 90% of the population is into the furmaking business . Furmaking goes a long way back to my area . More than 200 years ago was when renonwned merchants from Siatista imported knowhow from Russia , Italy and Austria . Siatista being located in a rocky area left no choice to its habitats but to become merchants or furmakers , since the agricultural or any other profession at that time would not support a family needs . And this is what happened ! People embraced this craft , integrated and mastered it . Knowhow , information , design coming from eastern Europe and Italy all helped into creating a tradition of excellent furmaking . Our craftsmen are the most skilled in the world and many of them are working in major furhouses in some of the biggest capitals of the world . Furmaking in Siatista today is in the form of a familly business . And this is how our familly business is . We are 3rd generation furmakers . This is the only thing we know how to do and we are passionate about it . We dedicate all of our love to every stage of making a fur . From a fox pelt or a mink piece untill it is a ready to wear garment . Luxury , quality , passion .
