Wanda of Wanda's Critters Etc Several years ago, I had to take a medical disability retirement from my much-loved job at the VA Hospital, due to various chronic health problems that often complicate my life.  I needed a job that would allow me to supplement my retirement, while at the same time work around my various health issues. Prior to retiring, I worked the night shift at the hospital and often did bird programs at many of the San Diego libraries at "Childrens' Hour."  In fact, I began using the Avian Fashions Flightsuits and Leashes on my birds, when someone, who had heard of the flightsuits, suggested that I look into them.  I did look into the Avian Fashions flightsuits and began using them.  That was more than 10 years ago.  I have been using these items every since. Lorraine, the lady who invented the Avian Fashions  Flightsuit, suggested that I sell some of their items as a means of making some extra money.  Being a business woman was something that I did not think I could ever do.  Lorraine told me that since I had much experience with their items and I spent much time researching birds and telling others about them, that I had a good basis for relating to people who might be interested in the suits.  I decided to think about it.  One of my friends suggested selling on eBay.  I had never used eBay but agreed to look into it. Now, it is 3 years later.  I own my own business, Wanda's Critters Etc., and I sell worldwide.  I get to work from home and be with my precious pets almost every day.  Also, it is easy to work around my health issues. What a job!  I love it!!!  Although I usually work long hours and most days of the week, I get to communicate with many wonderful animal lovers and talk about my favorite subject - animals!  The wonderful friendships that I have made by having this business are invaluable to me.  Sometimes, I think that I have the "Perfect Job"; and then other times, I know that I do!
