Hello there and welcome! My name is Katrina and I live in Sarasota, Florida! I've been a member on eBay since 2002 though I didn't start selling anything until 2007 when I started my own Pet Supply company called "Old Miakka Trading Post". I live in the "Old Miakka" section of Sarasota county, hence the company name. There is a huge 27,000 acre park called "Myakka State Park" a few miles from me that is teeming with wildlife and the true feeling of old Florida. Huge Live Oaks, hanging moss, lots of BIG alligators, deer, turkey, wild hogs, foxes and a whole host of birds and other animal life. I remember going there as a child and the deer had no fear of man back then and you could hand feed them! Definitely not the case now!
In my career over the years I've always been involved in Customer Service in some way or another and at one time held the title of "Customer Service Director" for a large health care company. I enjoy communicating with the public and my buyers. I value the interaction and especially love it when I hear from a buyer after the sale about their positive experience. Not everyone takes the time to do so and it is great when it happens.
I also have my own web site on the Yahoo! Shopping network. The web site address is http://www.oldmiakkatradingpost.net and I sell a lot of things there that are not sold on eBay. I usually have sales going at all times so if you have dogs, cats, horses, ferrets, rabbits or any other type of pet please take the time to look.
I live in the country and have horses, cows, dogs and one Cockatiel named "Katie" who loves to watch "All My Children" with me! LOL! She starts singing and 'hollering' every time the shows opening music plays.
In the very near future there will be a section on the web site called "TinaBug's Originals", which will have all original hand-painted designs for the home & garden. Beautiful touches of color to enhance your living space.
TinaBug is actually a nickname my Grandmother gave me as a child and I am still called that by my family on occasion! Especially by both of my 90+ year old Grandmother's! As of this writing they are both alive, healthy and a great source of knowledge and joy.
