G'day :) My name is DONNI HAKANSON & I am a writer, artist and bodywork therapist
living in the tropics of north Queensland.

I am passionate about glass! All my lampwork beads have been handmade by myself, one at a time, and properly kiln annealed. I use imported soft glass, I also design & make original jewelery. I have been torching for over 5 years now. My work has appeared in "Bead & Button",(USA) and "Beads, Etc" (Australia) magazines as well as the "Inner Child Spotlight" by Corina Tettinger.

I am the author of the world release "Oracle of the Dreamtime" (translated 4 times) and "Native Symbols -- A Guide to the Energies of the Australian Bush." My writing (and editing) has seen me published world-wide in several magazines & books. I'm quite proud of my accomplishments. Living by my creativity brings me MUCH joy, I love life! Thankyou to those who support my work, because it is what keeps me going!

I am a mum to 3 kids and a plethora of critters including Bella the paralysed Blue Burmese and Chonky, a miniature chihua / mini foxy cross who came from one of my bead buyers!

I have mostly worked in the media (writing, radio, film, promotions) and a multitude of other jobs & occupations from radio announcing in the outback to managing a bookshop in inner-city Sydney, manager for an Aboriginal performing troupe to busking.
