I have been in the crafts and jewellery business for 12 years now.

I source materials from around the world, my palette echoing much of my Greek heritage - the brilliant paua blues and greens, injecting some magic into the khakis and browns of the Mt Cook region.
Embracing my adopted country's pacific flavour, I now focus on  jewellery made with paua - abolone, mother of pearl shells and Maori carved bone and greenstone. 

Paua shell has always fascinated me with its gorgeous caleidoscope of colours.  In my store you will be able to buy great quality handpicked pieces in all shapes and beautiful colours as mother nature makes them.

These  shells are harvested and managed under strict fishing quotas for ecological sustainablility. They are by-products from the Seafood Meat Industry and farmed Mother of Pearl industries.

Found only in seas around New Zealand, this marine mollusc eats seaweed and clings to rocks as depths of 1-10 metres along the coast. Paua shell is the most colourful of all the Abalone shells, others pale in comparison.
