BIOGRAPHY
Born in Jacksonville, North Carolina, Amy Guidry spent most of her years in Slidell, Louisiana and is now a resident of Lafayette, LA. She attended Loyola University of New Orleans where she received her Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts - Graphic Design. She was awarded the Loyola University Art Scholarship, awarded to only one student per graduating class.
Amy has exhibited her work at various galleries and museums throughout the country. Her paintings have been the subject of numerous articles and online publications including American Artist magazine, Studio Visit magazine, and Juxtapoz Art & Culture magazine. She was recently published in Marquis Who's Who in the World 25th Anniversary Edition and Who's Who of American Women. Amy's work has been selected for juried shows by museum directors such as J. Richard Gruber of the Ogden Museum of Southern Art and Andrea Karnes of the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, Texas. Her work was recently featured on MTV's The Real World Season 20: Hollywood. She was previously represented by Jenkins Connelly Gallery in New Orleans, LA and is currently represented by Wally Workman Gallery in Austin, TX.

Shown extensively throughout Louisiana as well as other states including Texas, California, New York, New Jersey, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, and South Carolina.
