I'm a student and am studying medical transcription at the best school in the country: Andrews School. Lordy, it's a tough profession.
Many people think that it's an easy work-at-home job that they can get if they can type and just do a little studying. Hah! It's rather grueling to learn and even tougher to break into that profession.
I am grateful, though, that I still have the ability to learn new things. It takes a little longer for this 'old dog' to learn new tricks--but that won't stop me!
When I'm not studying, I sew, quilt, cook, paint and read! Oh, I almost forgot to tell you--I always have a good-sized veggie garden each year.
There's nothing like the succulent taste of lightly steamed zucchini fresh from the garden...or the taste of red-ripened tomatoes so juicy they dribble down your chin and neck!
Pssst...Oh, yes, I almost forgot to mention...I make a mean whole-wheat pizza. Yum! ...Now my mouth is watering!...
I am a proud member of the Disabled Online Users Association.

DOUA is a volunteer based non-profit program which was formed with the vision of giving the differently-abled a chance to expand their world via selling on the internet. DOUA never charges for any of its services. DOUA is all about giving people a hand up, not a hand out.
