OUR IRON-CLAD WARRANTIES
All of
our cedar furniture is guaranteed for one to 5 years after purchase
(see listings), and all our
pine furniture is guaranteed for life against defects in
material or workmanship. Within that time, if any
part breaks due to an original defect in materials or workmanship, we
will repair or replace it (at their discression), and even
pay for the shipping of the part to get it to you!
- Please keep in mind that cedar is a natural
wood product, so small variations in the grain and other slight
"imperfections" are a part of the natural character and beauty of the
product. Therefore minor hairline cracking or "checking" that does not
affect the performance of the furniture is not covered.
- Any and all breakage or repairs not directly
associated with defects in original materials and workmanship
including, but not limited to, such as wood rot or disintegration (from
exposure to certain types of bugs, molds, ground moisture and other
deteriorative substances natural or unnatural), abuse or misuse, and
damage occurring during use for which it was not intended (e.g. someone
sitting on an arm paddle and breaking it, exceeding normal weight
capacity of furniture (such as by trying to squeeze more people on it
than it was intended for), etc.).
- Damage caused by exposure to various weather
patterns such as leaving the furniture outside in the winter, thereby
allowing water to penetrate various parts and possibly freeze, thereby
expanding and cracking the wood; or damage to any part not suffering
from an original defect in material or workmanship that results from
the effects of any other weather patterns.
- Due to various weather patterns that are
beyond our control, the stain treatment is not warranteed in any way
for a specific period of time, although you can expect that it will
last anywhere from 1.5 - 4 years (sometimes longer) before renewal is
necessary.
- You may be required to send us the damaged
piece for inspection and/or repair, or to furnish us with a photo
(digital or by mail) before we send the replacement part in order for
us to assess the damage and ensure that it was due to original defects
in material and/or workmanship and to assess whether we should repair
or replace it.
If we asses the damage not to be due to an original defect in materials
and/or workmanship, you will be responsible to pay for the replacement
part and shipping.
SHIPPING
PROCEDURE
We
use only the
best shipping services available for North American deliveries...
Federal
Express, UPS, and their affiliates.
We
maintain an inventory of products ready to be shipped to you at any
time, although sometimes a piece has to be produced especially for you.
Our cedar furniture is usually delivered to you in 5-7
business days. Our pine furniture is usually delivered
within 10-14 business days, although many times, it is much faster.
RETURN
PROCEDURE
In
order to return any piece, please follow these instructions. Returns
will not be accepted if they are not properly adhered to:
- If you have accepted delivery, please ensure that all
original instruction sheets, hardware packets (nuts, bolts, etc),
warranty card, and packing is still available and in sufficient
condition to withstand return shipping, otherwise you must arrange for
alternative packing that will properly protect the furniture during
return transportation.
- Call our customer service line at 1-866-86-CEDAR or email us to request a
"Returned Merchandise Authorization Code" ("RMAC").
- Arrange for pickup of the item(s) through FedEx Ground or
UPS (whichever method it arrived) and
return it to the designated return depot, which you will be given by an
authorized Iowa Adirondack representative when you make initial contact
for your RMAC.
- Please include your name, address, phone number, copy of
invoice from the original order, and your RMAC in the package.
- Write your RMAC code on the Way Bill in the "Sender
Reference" area so that it can easily be identified upon receipt that
it is an authorized return.
- Keep your copy of the Way Bill, which has a tracking number
for the shipment, for your records and in case we require the tracking
number to trace the whereabouts of the shipment.
Conditions:
Item must be sent back within 20 days from date of receipt,
otherwise returns may not be accepted.
All products and packaging must be in their original
condition to receive a full refund, otherwise repackaging and/or
restoration fees may apply and be deducted from refund amount.
If item is damaged beyond repair for any reason
(notwithstanding documented damage made by FedEx (or other chosen
delivery company) before you initially received the item) and not
suitable for re-sale, the return will not be accepted.
Maximum refund is your original purchase price plus we
refund original shipping charges. You are responsible for return
shipping charges.
