Taking A Break Between Music Students

Here's a bit about me from a local music website:

"Steven has been playing piano since he was seven years old. He began performing professionally when he was sixteen and recording when he was 23. Since that time, he has added the Hammond B3 organ, acoustic and electric guitar, mandolin, and electric bass to his arsenal of instruments.  He has done studio work and/or performed with Journey, Jackson Browne, Eddie Money, John Lee Hooker and Brad Gillis of Night Ranger. Two particularly fond memories of his were opening for The Band during their 1980's reunion tour and performing with Joe Satriani before his climb to stardom."

Currently, I teach music out of my home music studio and have about 28 students taking piano, organ, guitar and electric bass lessons.  I also do guitar and electric bass renovations and setups as a side business, and have had the pleasure of working on many beautiful and unique instruments.  I perform two or three times a month around northern California, mostly on keyboards but with enough guitar and electric bass gigs to add a little extra flavor to my musical goulash.
