"As a career musician, I have spent the last 35 years studying, performing, and teaching jazz guitar. In lessons, I am especially interested in working with motivated adult students who are pro and semi-pro. I have worked with many pro 'rockers' who wanted to incorporate the techniques and harmonies of jazz in their playing. Many of my serious jazz students have gone on to full-time playing and teaching careers. Over my career I have studied with top jazz educators...including Tom Carroll (OSU), Joe Negri (University of Pittsburgh), and Barry Green (University of North Florida).....in so doing I have amassed a large portfolio of lesson materials that offer my students a wealth of resources. Additionally, my 10 published jazz books provide even more valueable study of the masters. Call for details on lessons, tailored to your needs. Most of my students have commented that lessons really got them out of a slump and helped them move themselves to the next level".
