This is Don, Yours truly

Thanks for taking a look at my FIXED PRICE LISTINGS ON eBAY. I sell primarily Doll and Figure Supplies as you can see. I work a full time job and sell these products on the side, so I don’t have to get rich and can offer you very reasonable prices. For those that care, by profession I'm in law enforcement. I'm a criminal investigtor for the State of Oregon in the Portland, OR area. I mostly investigate and prosecute welfare fraud cases.
MY SHIPPING: I try very hard to ship everyday including most Sundays. I leave for work at 5AM Pacific Time, so everything paid by 4:30PM Pacific Time ships that day normally assuming I get home from work on time. Most of my product is at my Kelso, WA home, and I have a home in Portland I stay at several days during the week. Some of the less active items I don't keep in Portland, but most if not all the stands I do and ship from there the same as Kelso. I don't work on Friday so I ship late in the day on Friday and I ship at 3:30pm on most Saturday's. Of course there are exceptions, mostly as it relates to the weekends as I do have a life also and like camping at the beach and at our mountain lake property. But as you can see by my hundreds of customers I'm pretty fast at getting you your merchandise. I HATE waiting so I know you do too. EVERY ITEM I SHIP, INCLUDING INTERNATIONAL IS SHIPPED WITH DELIVERY CONFIRMATION AND YOU ARE SENT AN EMAIL BY STAMPS.COM SHOWING YOU WHEN SHIPPED. IF YOU DON'T GET THAT EMAIL IN A DAY OR TWO LET ME KNOW, I'M NOT PERFECT YET...If you buy INSURANCE it is through STAMPS.COM, much is better insurance than USPS. (I have never had a claim so your items are packaged well).
Because my items vary so much in weight and size, if you buy multipal items, PLEASE WAIT for me to send an invoice, usually very quickly. You'll save some nice money. On doll stands, at least the smaller one's, Kaiser 2001 through Kaiser 2301 and a few others, it saves you a lot from what the auto invoice from eBay will send you. For those sizes, generally speaking it's $12.50 (Rate increased 1-18-09 by USPS) via Priority Mail for the first 2 dozen and just $1.00 for each additional dozen up to about 14 dozen in the USA. I TRY VERY HARD TO BE FAIR ON MY SHIPPING/HANDLING. Just ask if your not sure. Insurance is your choice but don't expect me to replace if you don't buy insurance.
My SHIPPING/Handling prices are clearly listed in each listing, if for some reason you don't agree with it, then simply buy from someone else OR email me and see if I can work it out for you. I have to cover eBay listing fees, closing value fees, PayPal fees, shipping fees including envelopes, some padded envelopes, I pay for DELIVERY CONFIRMATION to protect both you and me, postage program (stamps.com), labels, tape, in some cases boxes. I pay Washington state business and occupation tax, City of Kelso business and occupation tax, city and state business licenses, FEDERAL INCOME TAX and other fee's, including GAS to the post office. I have to recover that cost and choose to do that in the handling, instead of raising my selling prices. Oh, and somewhere in there I like to be paid for my time and effort. My prices and shipping are fair and resonable.
I gladly ship international. On international I DO NOT AND WILL NOT mark as a "Gift", I don't give my items away. I do mark the value appropriately for your country. International rates are posted on most of my auctions. For more than 1 dozen the price you get from the eBay invoice will be way to high normally, wait for my invoice and don't pay eBays invoice. I use the INTERNATIONAL FLAT RATE PRIORITY BOX when it's to your advantage, I can ship up to 20 pounds (about 14 dozen Barbies Size or smaller) stands for the flat rate price of $42.00 which includes insurance. I add $1.25 per dozen to cover my costs, eBay fees and huge PayPal fee's, and other fee's I pay such as taxes and shipping program. For CANADA it's $26.00 plus $1.00 per dozen for the Flat Rate Priority Box (These are the new rates as of 1-18-09). INTERNATIONAL IS AT YOUR RISK. Have never had one not show up but sometimes they are slow. ON INTERNATIONAL SALES I LEAVE YOUR FEEDBACK AFTER YOU HAVE LEFT IT FOR ME. THERE ARE MANY REASONS FOR THIS, THE BIGGEST BEING THAT SOMETIMES INTERNATIONAL CAN TAKE FOR EVER, WHICH IS NOT MY FAULT, IT'S USUALLY YOUR POSTAL SYSTEM OR CUSTOMS. I DO NOW USE BAR CODING TO SPEED THINGS UP. JUST LEAVE IT FOR ME AND I QUICKLY LEAVE IT FOR YOU.
I should further say I need to sell these doll supplies to pay for my lovely wife of 43 years, doll habit!! One day I’m going to have to build a bigger house or another addition for all these beautiful babies she buys AND to make things worse she has both our granddaughters hooked on doll collecting!! It's because of Patti I'm here for you....
The size charts below should help you.
I have a huge supply of extreamly nice LaSioux wigs and they are priced right... Here's some INFORMATION ON THE CARE OF A "LaSIOUX WIG: TO WASH YOUR LA SIOUX WIG: Just swish by hand in cold water mixed with a mild human hair shampoo, Rinse. Use of conditioner in final rinse water is desirable. Let dry. Then comb or brush. The style will bounce back. TO RESTYLE YOUR LA SIOUX WIG: Set as you would your own hair using regular rollers and water. Wig MUST dry under hair dryer or other heat method. Or use your electric rollers AT THEIR VERY HOTTEST. The longer you leave your rollers in, the longer your set will last. Let curlers cool completely before removing.
If your not finding what you need in my auctions or store, please ask, I may have it and it's not listed or I can probably get it from one of my many suppliers. I have numerous it's that are not listed just because of time. I try weekly to add new items.
How To Measure . . .
|
|
HOW TO MEASURE FOR A WIG
Wrap a cloth tape measure around the circumference of your doll's head just behind the ears and across the forehead. Measurement should be in inches as that's how my wigs are sized.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR EYES
To measure the diameter of your doll's eyes, the eye socket should be measured in millimeters (mm) from corner-to-corner, as illustrated. My eyes are push in type sleepy eyes. |
TO SET PLASTIC SLEEPY EYES
Using a small soft brush, apply a heavy coat of Vaseline between moving plastic eye and metal casing; this prevents glue from seeping into opening between eye and metal liner. Apply 1 coat of 5-minute epoxy to beveled eye area inside head or 1/8” wide around metal liner….place into position in eye socket in head. Move until eyes are in correct position just as you would for glass eyes. Allow to set 5 minutes. Wipe brush used for Vaseline and use same brush to lift Vaseline from casing area. DO NOT USE SOLVENTS on plastic, wipe eye free from Vaseline film with Kleenex.
To get the old eyes out Patti uses a hair dryer to warm up the plastic/rubber, very carefull, to get the old eyes out. I’m sure there are lot’s of tricks around for doing that.
