Hi!  My name is Kim Hanson and I make and design all the jewelry in my eBay store. Customers always comment how much they like the wide variety of styles and materials that I use. Every artistic person creates what they like, and sometimes that limits your selection when you are shopping from them.  When you visit my eBay store you will see lots of variety.  I joke that I am like a chameleon on plaid .....I like almost everything, so I make a little of everything.

When I read artist's statements many state that they are inspired by nature.  Now I love nature!!!  Nothing make me feel more at peace than being surrounded by beautiful scenery, but I get my inspiration from the beads themselves.  I generally design each piece of jewelry around a focal bead.  I concentrate on the focal bead and let it tell me what would look best with it.  I play around with designs on my design board to see what looks  best to me.  If I am not positive about a design I put tape on the beading wire to secure the beads and put it away for a day or two.  When I get it back out I can usually tell immediately if it is "just right" or needs some more work.
