Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read about me. Well i started out collecting comic books when I was 16 years old. I collected them for about 5 years and amassed a nice collection. By then I was in college and my friends were into sports cards. Since I grew up near the Topps Plant in Dureya, PA I had some whiskey boxes filled with cards from when I was younger. Pretty much they were all dog eared from being put into my spokes of my bike but there was a few good ones left. My Dad and I started going to cards shows and we started buying sets and wax boxes. We broken them down to make our own sets, but when this started there was only 5 companies making cards and only one kind per company. We purchased sets from the 1970 on up in all the sports and non sports fields. But since it got too jammed packed with multiple series and brands now, My dad only buys Topps factory sets every year. Since we have gotten burned from buying all the chase cards which come out, then in a few years they were not even close to being what we paid. We still do collect cards and comics. Basically we are looking for cards to finish off the sets we were working on, and trying to finish the chase sets. The one set we have been trying to complete has been the Proline Football Autograph Set from 1991, We are basicaly looking for just around 18 cards from the 91 & 92 set, that is even if they make them. Since my Mom died a few years ago, Dad and I havn't done anything with wax boxes, she loved opening the packs and sorting the cards with me and my dad. Last time we bought a box it was hard on us with my mom not there. You can never put a price tag on the time you spent with your loved ones.

Basically, we are collectors and One day I hope to finish my sets and certain comic runs, so that my Daughter can have them. I hope by then she learns to appreciate the past and how things change, and maybe with some luck if she dosn't want all of that stuff by then, I hope she will get at least what we put into it dollar wise. For me it s all about nastalga and remembering the good times, when things were simple. When you can go into a store and find the figure you wanted and didn't have to hunt down a short printed one. or hunt down a limited printed card. Basically being a kid.

I also buy and collect DVD's and Video Games. I use to do alot of trading of what I had doubles of. Since the ecomony slowed down, we do not sell anything.

Well that pretty much sums it up for what my Dad and I do. I hope we can do business, and things will go just fine.
