About Broken Baby Dollz™:
Hello, my name is Missy Polen and I’m the artist of the work on this site. I’m a graduate of the Columbus College of Art and Design and currently work in Corporate America as a Graphic Designer. A few years ago, I got the idea to make doll-based artwork. All of these dolls and paintings are based on inspirations from my own life. The idea started with a love for classic horror movies and fashion which I have had most of my life. The talent came from inside. I guess it’s a gift. Currently the dolls are selling on Ebay and at local shops. Send me your email, if you would like to be put on the mailing list. I always post bulletins about new dolls and sales or if I set up a booth at any of the conventions that come around.
Specifics about the dolls:
These dolls are made completely from scratch. Hand painted and sculpted. I use polymer clay and muslin for the cloth body. Hands, feet and heads are all sculpted from the polymer. All dolls are painted with acrylic paints. They all ship signed and with display stands, and certificates of authenticity signed by me.
Everything that is on this site was made with great care and love. I always appreciate input, ideas or feedback. Thanks for your interest.
