Frequently
Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q:
Why should I bid on an auction listed by Jamestrade?
A:
Please check our feedback and read what others have to say about
us! We have been in business on eBay since 1999 and have achieved
a solid reputation. The most common comments you will see reported
include: "fast shipping", "item exactly as described",
"smooth transaction" and "would buy from again".
Q:
Is the item on auction in stock?
A:
All items we list on auction and in our ebay store are guaranteed
to be in stock. Unlike other sellers, we will auction only what
we have on hand. This assures prompt processing and shipping
of your order. Also, we do not use other companies to drop-ship
any of our products. All packaging and shipping is completed
by us.
Q:
Is the item on auction brand-new?
A:
All items we list on auction are brand-new. Every description
will state the condition of the product. For example, all of
our DVDs are listed as "brand-new, factory-sealed".
If we ever sell a used product, it will be clearly stated in
bold in the description.
Q:
When will my item ship?
A:
All orders will be processed promptly within one business day
of receipt of payment. Upon shipment, an e-mail will be mailed
to the customer with the appropriate carrier information (If
USPS, a delivery confirmation number; If UPS, a tracking number).
PLEASE be sure your e-mail address is updated with ebay and
paypal to ensure receipt of your e-mail. We are not responsible
for messages not received due to incorrect e-mail addresses
or spam-blocking from your internet provider. You are always
welcome to contact us through the ebay messaging system for
updates.

FAQ
Q:
Will my DVD player play the DVD you have on auction?
A:
Yes, if you are in the United States and have a DVD player you
purchased from a U.S. retail store, it will play. All DVD's
we sell are Region 1 and for playback on NTSC television systems,
the standards for North America. See below for technical information.
Likewise, all DVDs sold by retail stores in the U.S. such as
Walmart and Target are Region 1 in an NTSC format.
Q:
What does "Region 1" mean?
A:
Region codes were created by the motion picture studios to control
the home release of movies in different countries. By incorporating
this code into the DVD standard, they can prevent the playback
of certain discs in specific geographic locations. Region 1
is the code designated to the United States, U.S. territories,
and Canada. All DVD players sold for use in the United States
play Region 1 discs; most are locked to play only Region 1 discs.
All DVD's for release in the U.S. are Region 1 encoded.
Q:
What does "NTSC" mean?
A:
NTSC is the television display format used in North America
(U.S. and Canada) - as opposed to the PAL format used throughout
Europe. NTSC refers to the scanning and frame rate delivered
- 29.97 frames per second. NTSC is the system implemented by
all DVD players for use in the U.S. and Canada. Check the packaging
of any movie or game you have purchased in the United States
and chances are you will see the NTSC logo stamped on it.
Q:
Are your DVDs a (copy, bootleg, import, etc.)?
A:
All products we carry are for retail-sale and distribution in
the United States. They are the same exact products and packaging
you will find at your local retail store such as Walmart, Target,
BestBuy, Kmart, etc. We DO NOT and will NEVER sell copies (otherwise
known as bootlegs). We also DO NOT sell illegal imports of bootleg
DVDs. Unfortunately, the DVD marketplace on eBay has been flooded
with such products. From time to time, you will see another
seller's listing for a DVD title we sell but at a significant
lower cost - read the fine print and you will often see "Asia
Collector's Edition", "Asian lettering on package"
or "Directly shipped from China". Most of these products
are illegal imports and such fraudulent listings should be reported
to eBay. Purchasing from us guarantees you will receive an authentic
product.
