About Us...
Originally based in Stirling, NJ, USA, Janel, Inc. has been the source for Supplies & Technical Assistance to the Electroncis Industry for over 40 years. In August 1999, the business moved to a newly renovated facility in downtown Bound Brook, NJ, USA. Just 4 weeks later, Hurricane Floyd flooded the town and ruined the building with 12 feet of water, destroying computers and inventory. A temporary office was immediatelly established and by October 25, by determined and dedicated staff, had erected the office and were again shipping orders to customers. "You can't keep a good guy down" was the motto.
Again, in 2007, the Nor'eastern Storm flooded the facility with 6 feet of water, destroying inventory and all contents. A temporary office was established in 12 hours, and the building completely renovated by July 2007.
Today, September 8, 2008, Janel, Inc. has fully recovered and venturing to online sales.
