All about me... I am Jan Roberts and I have collected Blue Ridge Pottery for over 30 years. In 1999 I had so much Blue Ridge that I decided to sell a few pieces on eBay. The bad news was I had to part with some precious Blue Ridge pieces; the good news was that I got to BUY MORE!!
Every year my husband Sam and I travel to Tennessee to attend the Blue Ridge Pottery show in Erwin where the dishes were made. We also take many other side trips (especially when Sam has a conference to attend and I get to go along) and I continue in my quest for Blue Ridge. Pictures from many of these trips appear on our web page.
Several times over the past few years we have driven cross country, but sometimes we fly. When we fly we always take along four hard-sided Samsonite suitcases full of bubble pack in anticipation of all the goodies we are going to bring back with us. The porters are really puzzled about why such big suitcases weigh so little!
I have three cabinets full of beautiful Blue Ridge pieces that I especially treasure. Some years ago I appeared with my Blue Ridge collection on the "Collectible Treasures" program with Sharon Anderson on Home and Garden Television. I have thousands of pieces of Blue Ridge that are earmarked to be sold on eBay. You can always drop me an email to see if I have what you need.
Although Blue Ridge is my first love, there are lots of other things I love and enjoy and they ultimately are listed on eBay. For example, in the past and currently I have other items like various kinds of American dinnerware, glass, Playbills from Broadway shows, postcards, records, videos, CDs and computer games.
I also teach a class a couple of times each year at West Valley College in Saratoga, California. The topic? How to sell on eBay!
All in all, I keep pretty busy. As you can probably see from my feedback, people who buy from me are very pleased with their purchases and especially the careful way I pack breakable things. So you can feel confident when you bid on my auctions. Enjoy looking and bidding. I certainly enjoy dealing with eBay folks! |
