My daughter Jacque & "Joe"

I'm happy to announce that after being away from designing and making custom showclothes for people that show horses for over 20 years, my daughter, Jacque and I are reopening "The Wright Place" and plan to start taking orders in March 2008! Jacque has purchased a new quarter horse gelding, who is fondly called "Joe" and will be showing in Quarterhorse shows here in Kansas and surrounding states and I will be accompanying her to most of the shows. I am really looking forward to meeting old acquaintances and making new ones and most of all designing beautiful outfits for the showring once again!
I will continue to sell women's clothing both plus sizes and regular sizes and hope you come back often to see what is new. Happy New Year to all of you, Judy Wright

I worked as a Legal Administrative Assistant here in Wichita, KS until 6 years ago and then took my social security early and supplemented my income by selling returned clothing from a well known shopping channel, to make a living. My daughter, Jacque and I did it together until she was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago, and it became too much for her to keep up with ebay sales, plus her full time job while she was having her treatments. She is feeling better now, although she is still under doctor's care and treatment, and is working full time and riding her new quarterhorse every free moment she has. Besides Jacque, I have 2 sons also living in the Wichita, Kansas area and am a "grandma" of 6 boys and 1 girl. My older son, Jerry and his wife Edye, are also involved in the horse world. Jerry is a trainer and most recently has designed and made custom saddles for customers, which are truly beautiful! Edye is a photographer and also gives riding lessons, which I plan to take as soon as the weather turns warmer. My dog, gillie, who is a retired national champion Dachshund, lives with me and is great company! She is going to become "a quarterhorse family dog", attending the horseshows with me this Spring & Summer.
