Hi there...I'm Patti Bolles the driving force behind Arabesque Bead Studio located in the foothills of the coastal mountains here in beautiful Oregon.

 I have been involved in art in some way or another for most of my life...sewing, quilting, lots of different fabric techniques, hand made papers, handmade soaps, botanical creations, oils, rubs, anything I could be creative with!   My actual career was as a cake decorator... with my own home based business...and for several major and private bakeries...that was my passion...until I was introduced to glass beadmaking.  My first real instructor was Larry Brickman...he taught a class at Heartsong Glass Studio in Seal Rock Oregon... so many of the techniques were just like cake decorating...all the way to the point of baking (annealing)...and you know what...beads are permanent...no one is going to eat them...at least I hope not!  I have been fortunate to have learned from many very talented bead makers and hope I'm able to put my own twist on my little glass creations.  I am absolutely mesmerized by this process and hope to be melting glass for many years to come!
