Love of Painting About the Artist Welcome to my store!!I have been Painting since I was 10 yrs of age. So that was many years ago as I am 54 this year!! Raised in Michigan I grew up close to the woodlands. I have a natural love for landscapes ,encompassing the birch trees and the pines in alot of my paintings.I moved to California in the 80s and have fallen in love with the landscape and use the various scenes in a lot of my paintings! I have shown my work in art shows around the California area for many years and am in private collections thru the US, Europe and Canada! Some weekends you can find me at the Orange County ARTS and Crafts Market in Costa Mesa California (weather permitting) !I have won numerous awards over the past 30 yrs!I also have paintings exibited from time to time at the High Desert Cultural Center in downtown Victorville!I have shown in the Laguna Art-A-Fair and have had my paintings hang in the LA Farmers Mkt Gallery!I have had numerous great Art Teachers (Robert Eucker,Connie Newton,Fred Leach(head Artist for American Greeting Cards for many yrs)and I am always studying the impressionist masters of the past (Monet and Sargent)to name a few!! I live with my cat Chloe and my 21 yr old daughter(Allison) and I have a married daughter Amber and a beautiful baby grandson Gavin almost two and a new grand baby Dalan 3 months old! A wonderful son-in-law Ben in the San Francisco Bay area . I like to work in all mediums.Working with lots of color I am able to keep all mediums alive for me. One week I may be into oils and than back to watercolors or acrylics , I am always trying to improve and make my work more exciting .I am currently creating exciting new folk country art and am having so much fun. Each painting is like a little story of its own. Funny I started out doing this style of painting almost 30 yrs ago and now I am returning to some of my artistic roots. HOW FUN!!! My work has also been described as colorful impressionism. I am in a lovely shop up in the Berkley area called ALL ABOUT EVE if you are ever in the areas ck the wonderful shop out! I have been on E-bay 4 yrs now and have sold near 1000 paintings !!I am very excited about this great opportunity to show my work to so many people!!
