Hello, my name is Jelene and I'm a professional artist that
lives in SC.
I have been selling on ebay since 1998, when before ebay was just starting to
become popular, and before all the Grandma's and Aunt Helen's started
selling their crocheted items and ceramic kitties.

I create a variety of different styles of artwork, for everyone in mind. I make
a lot of child like paintings (because I'm a child at heart), but
I make several abstract modern styles as well, such as my nightmare series.
If you would like something that is unique, such as a custom pop portrait of
your pet, frog, hippo, or a family portrait, check out the custom section.

Some of my inspirations include, Keith Haring, children's cartoons,
Rodney Allan Greenblat, Warhol, folk art, and kid's toys.

I started making art when I was a young child. It was my favorite pastime and art
was always my favorite subject in school, besides throwing spitballs.
Even at a young age, I knew I wanted to do something with it when I got older,
though I told Mister Knozit I wanted to be "Wonder Woman".

My goal as an artist is to spread my artwork as
fast as I can and as to many people as I can at affordable prices.
I constantly get emails from people saying,
"Dear Miss Jelene, I love your work, it makes me happy and I want to buy some!
But the thing is, I'm a poor college student, part-time job person, ice cream salesman,
crochet maker, homemaker, waitress at the waffle house, in-between jobs,
kind of person, and I just can't fork over the dough to
buy your work right now. I wish I could...
Will you please make artworks that I can afford,
but not break my wallet in doing so?
Sincerely, whomever it may be in best regards to your artistic needs."

So, now.... to fulfill all thoese people's needs and wishes, I have!

My work has been seen...on the Home and Family show in 1997/8, Rosie O'Donnell Show, Monserratt Gallery-Soho New York, House of Blues-Myrtle Beach, Brynn Carroll Gallery-Folsom-California, The Buzz! Royal Oak-Michigan, Rattlesnake Museum Arizona, several websites such as HUGE! Magazine, artbabyart.com, Susan Osbourne LLC, Art Dorks!, Local Girl Gallery-Lakewood Ohio, Pop Shop-Lakewood, Ohio, Internationally in individual homes from Japan, Australia, Africa, Canada, Mexico, China, all across the US.

Shipping- I ship out all my artwork myself several times a week and pack it all
up myself, so if something goes haywire, please cut me some slack as
it's a one girl operation over here.

Happy buyers-I try and make all my buyers satisfied and happy, so if there is something
particular you feel like you need to ask me like,

"Jelene in your fuzzy navel painting, is that color a bubblegum pink or a
pastel pink? I need to know so it will match my plastic flamingo in my yard".

I would be happy to answer it... and it's bubblegum pink, that is if I ever had a fuzzy navel painting. (I'm giving myself ideas!)
