Hello, I'm Karen. Welcome to my ME page! I live in Southern California with my husband Greg and our 5 children. I learned to sew when I was seven, making doll clothes. I taught myself to machine applique and started a home business 23 years ago, designing a line of baby bibs, bath towels and burp pads. I feel so blessed to have been able to stay home with my children and contribute to the family income. I discovered ebay in the spring of ’06 and this opened up a whole new outlet for creating! I really enjoy the designing end of my ebay business. Every applique you see on my creations is hand cut and machine appliqued. I have been designing and selling here on ebay for 3 years. One question I receive frequently is "are your designs digitized?" No they are not. I do not even own an embroidery machine. The term "machine applique" was used to describe what I do long before home embroidery machines were even available. All of my auctions have close up photos of my applique work. All of my items have serged seams for a professional finish and are sewn in my pet/smoke free studio.
