Jenny's "Boo's Zoo & Cartopia"
When I first started using
Ebay, I never had any intention of starting a business. I had only
gotten out of grad school 5 years before and had embarked on my passion
of helping kids and their families cope with death through the local
Hospice Program. I had always wanted to be a psychotherapist and it
finally had become a dream fullfilled at age 40. I was looking for
scrapbook items that the kids could make to celebrate the loved one that
had died in an effort to help in the healing process. This is what
brought me to Ebay. But then the unthinkable happened. I
was hit by a drunk driver in a horrendous car crash with my family. I was
now permanetly disabled and could no longer work in the traditional
way! In addition, my husband and I had to take over raising our
granddaughter, just a baby at the
time.

Now at 10 my granddaughter's favorite passion is Littlest Pet
Shops. I starting buying them on Ebay. My husband told me I
should see if I could sell the ones she had gotten that were
duplicates. That is when I got hooked! I really love what I am doing. I have met some
wonderful people and made many dear friends through my business. It
is the perfect business for me. I can set my hours to my crazy and
my granddaughters schedule. Plus she loves to help out. I
couldn't have made this such a success without her or my husband's (he
makes most of the post office trips) help! But most of all I want
to tell all my new and old customers how much I appreciate each and
every one of them!
