Jerry Weist has authored THE COMIC ART PRICE GUIDE 1st and 2nd editions, THE 100 GREATEST COMIC BOOKS, BRADBURY: AN ILLUSTRATED LIFE, and upcoming books on FANZINES, and FRANK R. PAUL.  He opened The Million Year Picnic in the summer of 1974 (one of the first specialty Comic Stores in North America), started SQUA TRONT in 1967- the famed E.C. fanzine. Mr. Weist was Sotheby's Consultant from 1990 -2001 (starting the first world-class market auctions).  He has worked with Al Feldstein, Jerry Siegel, Murphy Anderson, James Steranko, Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Dick Ayers, Bill Gaines, Ray Bradbury, Roy Thomas, Burne Hogarth, Danton Burroughs, Frank Frazetta, Robert Crumb, and a host of other professionals in the comics field for the past 20 years in helping them sell their artwork or collectibles.  Weist has been on National Television, in USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, and has been quoted in numerous other sources for comics history and auction results.  He is one of the first five members of C.G.C., and has just become one of the only independent dealers in America to be granted status for the new C.G.C. "Signature" series comic labels. Weist is willing to consign and sell - Original Comic Artwork, Science Fiction Artwork, Comic Books, Rare Paperbacks and PULP magazines, ERB Collections, Arkham House and Fantasy Books, First Edition's, SCIENCE FICTION Posters, and a number of other collectible areas - for individual collectors.
