Jessica Long lives with her parents and four siblings in Baltimore, Maryland. As a member of the U.S. Paralympic Swim Team she is planning to compete in the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing, China later this year. As you can imagine, she would love to have her family travel with her to support her and cheer her on.

Fortunately, Jessica's travel and accommodations are covered by the U.S. Olympic Committee and their generous sponsors. However, as with the families of many disabled athletes, her parents are burdened with the high costs of international travel.

In the past, your support made it possible for Jessica's father, mother, brother and three sisters to travel with her to Athens, Greece and South Africa. They were able to cheer her on and watch her win multiple gold medals on both trips.

Once again, your support is needed. This year, 100% of the money raised by these eBay auctions will help Jessica's family travel to China. Hopefully, they will be able to watch her win more gold medals.

We are truly amazed at how family, friends and the community are coming together to provide finances, publicity, well wishes, and prayers. It is only God who can take an abandoned Russian baby with birth defects and turn her into an elite Paralympic athlete. However, God uses special people like you to accomplish His plan.
