Below are answers to Our Most Frequently Asked Questions and the Summary of Our Selling Policies
 
These Policies are a part of all of Jessiepearl's auctions or orders.  Your bid indicates that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and conditions.
 
 
Payment:  PayPal is the preferred form of payment. Payment should be received within ten days of auction close. 
 
Taxes:  State Sales Tax of 8% must be paid when shipped to a Georgia address.
 
Shipping:   We try to ship within three days of payment. After the item is shipped, you must also allow for the delivery schedules of the USPS, UPS, FedEx, or other carrier that may be used.

A Dog Crate, Pet Bed, Cat Litter Box Cover or other items with color choices can not be shipped until we know your choice of color. Please indicate your choice in the "Comments" section of your Pay Pal payment invoice while paying or e-mail your choice to the e-mail address shown.

S&H prices shown for this auction is for the contiguous 48 states in USA only.  All other USA or international bidders should e-mail for S&H pricing.  Some items, due to weight or size, are not shipped by us outside of the USA.  Please check with us before bidding.  Customs forms will state the correct value - do not request that we misrepresent something.

Seller is not responsible for items lost in the mail.  This is a simple concept and it will not change simply because the buyer decides to assume the risk now and then the item gets lost later.  Mail does get lost sometimes.
After we place the item in the hands of the USPS we have no more control over the package than you.

Delivery after Item is Shipped:   Winning items are delivered by USPS, UPS or FedEx.  See Chart on our About Me page for average delivery times.  Choice of carrier is at seller's sole discretion. 
 
Refunds & Returns:  If your purchase is a new pet item and the product is not as it was described in the auction or offer, please return the item unused and undamaged in its original package within 10 days of receipt for refund of the bid or offer price. If Shipping was included in the offer price, any refund will be net of any actual shipping costs incurred. You will not find our descriptions to be incorrect, therefore, please do not make assumptions about the product. If there are questions, you must e-mail us before completing your purchase.

Once a pet product is used, or if appears to be used, a pet item may not be returned. If there is a manufacturing defect, the product or the defective part will be replaced. If the item was damaged in shipment and the item was insured,the purchased item will be an exchanged for a like item if available.

If more than one size of an item is offered by us please select carefully.  If an item that you purchase is the wrong size, please return the item undamaged in its original package within 10 days of receipt for an exchange for the correct size.  Purchaser is responsible for all shipping costs both ways plus any difference in size price. 

If more than one color of an item is offered by us please select carefully. A return will not be accepted.

In all cases E-mail your questions before you bid.  Please see other information which my be relevant to this transaction on the item's offer page.

For antiques, vintage or used items we will attempt to describe the item and any defects to the best of our ability, however, you must realize that we are not experts and a vintage item is going to have imperfections due to it's use over the years. Used items, therefore, are sold as-is and can not be returned.

Contact Me:   Once you have paid by Pay Pal our record of your transaction is by your real name used for shipping as shown by Pay Pal.  PLEASE use that name in future communications with us.  Using only the item number, your eBay name or your e-mail address only causes delays.  NOTE: eBay's communication method does not give your real name unless you sign your message.

When e-mailing direct via our e-mail address for any reason, please make the subject line clear and related to eBay to avoid being deleted as spam.  My Spam filter will ask for a verification e-mail from you that must be answered to prove a valid contact.  Because of the filter, we suggest using the eBay communication service - please remember to include your REAL name.

We attempt to answer all e-mails promptly, however, it may take up to 48 hours for an response.

We are closed on holidays and on the weekends.  E-mails may not be answered until Monday.

"TRACKING" vs "DELIVERY CONFIRMATION" of a package mailed by USPS

There is a great misunderstanding by many concerning the information provided by the "Delivery Confirmation" service of the USPS. Ebay and most people refer to "Delivery Confirmation" as "Tracking" in error.
The Delivery Confirmation service only tells you that the Post Office was to receive the mail and it tells you if or when it was delivered to the addressee's local Post Office (not at the actual mailing address). It is not a "Tracking " service - it never tells you where the package is located. The package is going to be in your mail box before you can see the Delivery Confirmation on line that evening on the USPS web-site. This means that all the claims of "needing" the tracking information is a moot point.

THE FOLLOWING IS TAKEN FROM THE OFFICIAL USPS WEB_SITE. -

Question: What is"Tracking" vs "Delivery Confirmation" of a package ?

Answer: Tracking services provide detailed information. You will see the item scanned at acceptance, as it travels, and when it is delivered. Tracking information is available for Express Mailmailpieces only (including Global Express Guaranteed* and Global Express Mail).

Services that confirm delivery are designed to be a low cost alternative to full tracking. Instead of seeing the acceptance information and updated scans as the item is enroute delivery confirmation services provide assurance of delivery or of attempted delivery. This service is available with the purchase of the following: Delivery Confirmationservice. Signature Confirmationservice. Certified Mailservice. Registered Mailservice. International Registered Mailservice.

Important Related information:

Regular mail (such as Priority Mailor Parcel Postitems) can NOT be tracked or verified as to delivery status unless one of the extra services stated above was purchased when the mailpiece was mailed

Question: What if my Delivery Confirmationitem hasn't been delivered ?

Answer: The estimated delivery time for First-Class Mailis 1 to 3 days, but it is not guaranteed. Delivery ConfirmationTM only provides you with a confirmation of the delivery date and time once the article has been delivered and scanned at the Post Office of addressee - it does not provide for any tracking through the mail stream.

Without a definitive tracking system affixed to the service we are not able to tell you where the item is within the mail stream or when it will be delivered. If it has been 14 postal business days from date of mailing, we suggest that you file a Mail Loss/Rifling Report (Form 1510) at your local Post Office
