For 13 years, I have been creating jewelry. I am a silversmith, a glass beadmaker, and a now, an oil painter as well. I love working with my materials: sterling, gemstones, colored glass, rich buttery oil paints- and creating something that is absolutely one of a kind, never to be repeated.
I love it when my art seems to speak to a customer- when they love it so much, and are so excited about owning it for themselves. Yes, money is nice, but this reaction to my work is just as compelling a reason for me to sit down at my bench or easel and continue to create for people.
