Jil Green Gust was born in Alta, Wyoming, the 4th of 10 children. The Green Family lived and worked a 320-acre ranch, homesteaded by Jil’s Great Grandfather in the early 1900’s.
Jil's early life revolved around a typical western ranch setting.
Jil is a true outdoors’ woman. She is an accomplished skier (downhill, back country, yurt camping ski trips), loves skating, snowboarding, scuba diving, kayaking, sailing and horseback riding. She enjoys fly-fishing, mountain climbing, hiking, backpacking, mountain biking.
Jil has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Latin America, Japan, Korea, China, Viet Nam, India, Bangladesh and Europe.
In addition to owning her own design studio for the past fifteen years, her professional experience has included designing, developing, merchandising, and pattern making for the outdoor market.
