Your quest is over!  Here it is, one of the largest offering of basketball cards in a single eBay Store!  I'm not a card dealer, but rather a collector who has collected way too much over the years.  Due to this fact, I have decided to utilize eBay to reduce my collection from duplicates, inserts, and parallel cards.  I started collecting over twelve years ago with my son.  Though I collected cards when I was a kid, it wasn't until the past few years that I got hooked--mid-life crisis I supposed.  Presently, I have over 200,000 basketball cards.  This I know to be true as most of my collection is electronically inventoried in Beckett's "My Collection."   This presents an unique opportunity for basketball collectors who are trying to complete their regular, parallel, insert, player or team sets.  Whereas most sellers have an abundance of baseball cards, while others have both baseball and football with a little basketball thrown in, and hockey sellers (who, I say respectfully, are in their own universe) typically having hockey cards only.  I, on the other hand, have focused primarily with basketball throughout the years.  So, if you are a basketball card and memorabilia enthusiast please read paragraph two for some insight about me in regards to card collecting, card selling and the hobby itself.  You may find the next paragraph rather long-winded--but believe me--it will save you a lot of time and aggravation when it comes to dealing with me.  A few last thoughts:  My eBay Store is player-oriented when it comes to searching for cards.  What I mean by this is that if you're looking for cards of Allen Iverson and you query inside my store with either keywords "Seventy-Sixers" or "Philadelphia," your search may END immediately.  But if you put the keyword as:  Iverson, your results WILL be the difference between night and day.  Also, please be sure to spell the name of your favorite player correctly.  I strive to spell each and every player's name perfectly so that your search results will reflect exactly what I have!  When it comes to looking for "Team Items" then, keywords such as "Miami Heat" would be most appropriate.  And finally, I would like to thank all of those who have left such wonderful feedback.  Due to the fact that I have a demanding full-time career, I do not always have the opportunity to address you individually.  I am very proud of my feedback score and the great comments I have receive from so many of you.  I strive towards excellence and great customer service and truly believe that it does make a difference--especially on eBay!!!  I, just like you, hate to wait too long for an item to arrive in the mail--especially when I paid for it right away!  Just remember, nothing is perfect, not me and especially not the U.S. Postal Service.  So please understand, sometimes it does takes a little longer than normal for your cards and/or items to arrive via the postal system--we call this Snail Mail--just keep in mind that your package is one of millions being processed daily.  What impresses me is how few  actually do get lost (I've had one or two) and how few do take longer to arrive (I've probably had five or six--out of thousands of cards and/or items sold!).  Once again, thanks for everything--your business, your repeat business and your feedback--I genuinely appreciate it!!! 

     Over 95% of my card collection consist of basketball cards.  Otherwise, I have over 190,000 basketball cards.  I don't state this to be boastful but rather, to put a few items in proper perspective.  I do not have any Ken Griffey Jr. cards, nor Brett Farve cards.  I do not own any inserts of Wayne Gretzy nor Tiger Woods nor Dale Earnhardt Jr.!  But, if you're looking for a Rafer Alston or Ben Gordon Rookie Card, Tracy McGrady or Allen Iverson Game-Used, or Inserts of Paul Pierce or Shaquille O'Neal or an autographed card of Amare Stoudemire or even Andrew DeClerc or Luke Walton, chances are that I do.  So, while I encourage all of you to email me with questions, special requests and wishlists--please do so within the realm of basketball card collecting.  And, if I do have whatever it is you are looking for, I will either place it in eBay's live Auction Marketplace or inside my eBay Store--so go ahead--email me (see link below) you might be surprised that I have that long lost card that you have been looking for for years.  Here are the top ten reasons you will want to do business with me: #1) You get what you ordered--no tricks.  #2) I don't believe in profiting from shipping costs.  #3) A rookie card is not a college card nor a rookie-year card.  A rookie card is a card which can be confirmed to be a rookie card by any major sports card publication such as Beckett's or Tuff Stuff--if I call it a rookie, rest assure it is!  (I  have written a guide published inside eBay's "Guides & Reviews" about this very same subject entitled "Buying a True Rookie Card--a Parent's/Beginner's Guide."  #4) You'll receive your item in great condition and in a timely manner.  All cards (regular-sized or smaller) are shipped penny-sleeved and top-loaded.  Furthermore, the card(s) is (are) placed within the folded invoice with a firm piece of foamboard along side it and placed inside a bubble-wrapped envelope.  All cards and/or items are shipped within two business days after receiving full payment.  Complete card sets and other items (ie. figurines) are obviously shipped differently, but none-the-less securely.  #5) If I find a manufacturer's card brandname to be confusing in anyway (ie. Skybox Autographics, Upper Deck Game-Used, Upper Deck Rookie Debut, etc.)--I'll be sure to clarify within the item description exactly what it is you are buying--I do this especially for younger and newer collectors.  #6) I work in law enforcement, so please do not ask me to do any off-auction deals nor intentionally or unintentionally ask me to violate any of eBay's rules.  #7) I list all modern cards I sell in near-mint/mint condition (though several are truly in higher condition).  The exceptions to this rule are Graded Cards (graded by any profesional third-party grading company) and Vintage Cards.  I will place what I believe to be a true and accurate grade on any vintage card that I sell but with this disclaimer:  I am not a professional grader of sports cards.  Most importantly,  if you do not think you received your card in the condition advertised, just return it--I will refund you both your money and shipping costs incurred--I have a stated money back guarantee!  And even though I do not presently have any negative feedback (knock on wood), I've made a few mistakes along the way and ended up having to refund a few customers here and there--but the great thing is this--all of them have left positive feedback!!!  #8) If you are trying to complete a set and only need a few common cards to complete it--don't worry--I will not hold you hostage.  Otherwise, I will only charge you between the low and high book price values of each card needed.  #9) I want to earn your trust and your business--and I will prove it with each and every transaction!  I don't sell just what is HOT, but what is NOT and as a collector you will truly appreciate this fact!  #10) This may be the most important thing to remember, I'm a collector too.  I have been ripped off (even on eBay) a few times in my life.  Though I have only been with eBay for just over two years, it is my sincerest intention to be with eBay for several years to come!  It is my goal not only to earn your trust, but to have you back as repeat customers!  And (hopefully) for you to be so impressed with my service that you'll tell your friends about me.  It is also my goal to have the most customer-friendly and comprehensive basketball card (plus other basketball related items) store in cyber-space!  Now allow me to conclude by stating a few issues (pet peeves) that I have regarding selling on eBay.  I have received way too many emails asking whether or not I accept personal checks or cash (which I do not).  Please read the item's description thoroughly--it tells you everything you need to know.  Please do not ask me to do any off-eBay deals.  As I stated before, I work in law enforcement and do not intentionally try to break any of eBay's rules--I plan to be here for the long haul.  Furthermore, I shy away from requests of "lot sales."  Please don't bother asking unless you have made three bonafide purchases from me in the past.  Also, I do not  trade cards.  One Final Note:  I truly believe that I am providing a service to you, you're not doing me a favor.  I say this as I have had several requests to lower the price on a particular card or cards--even though all of my listings clearly state that "I do not accept best offers."  If you do find a particular card to be over-priced (as I make mistakes too), politely point it out to me and I will double-check inside Beckett's to see if the price is out-of-whack.  Please do not lecture me about how you believe that Beckett's prices in general are all wrong--if I was going to give my cards away--I would just donate them to the Salvation Army or another reputable charity.  I'm not giving my cards away PERIOD!  I have Overhead Expences, eBay & PayPal fees to pay for, Shipping Supplies and Postage to pay for--as do other eBay sellers.  Furthermore, I have had a few requests to just mail the card in a regular envelope and place a $.39 stamp on it and charge that amount--well I believe that when you buy something, one expects it to be delivered in the same condition it left.  The $1.49 that I charge for domestic shipping is very fair (some sellers charge $2, $3, $4, and even $5+).  To reiterate, your card(s) is (are) penny-sleeved, top-loaded, well supported within your invoice with a piece of foamboard--all inside a bubble-wrapped envelope--So far, I have sold thousands of cards without one complaint regarding being received damaged--so I must be doing something right.  And one final note:  For set collectors, team set collectors and single-player collectors--you will find my eBay Store a great resource for all-of-you in particular. So, please do not complain about my pricing of single cards of commons, stars or semi-stars.  If you truly believe that by me charging a measley $.89 or $1.29 or $1.49 for a single card is ridiculous--I suggest that you go to your local hobby shop or retail outlet and pluck down $3, $4, $5, - $10 per pack until you get that one particular card that you so truly wanted and needed--that I had listed all along for chump change.  Thank you for giving me this opportunity to present myself.  You'll find me to be honest, fair, straight-forward and someone who you will want to do business with over and over again.  Please be so kind to leave feedback whenever doing business with me--even if you're a repeat customer.  No matter if I'm buying or selling, I always leave feedback!  Thanks for taking the time to read this and as always, best of luck with all of your bidding and buying!!!      JOHN
